Unboxing Carson H0 1:87 RC combo set with VW Bus T1 Samba Police + Maltesee + 2.4 GHz remote control

- In this unpacking video I show a combo set consisting of two remote-controlled VW T1 Samba buses in H0 model railway scale 1 to 87 and the associated 2.4 GHz radio remote control. The 5 cm small models of a police force and a Malteser medical vehicle can be steered and driven in precise proportions. They also have an additional function that can be activated, including a blue light with a Martinshorn (siren) sound. In contrast to most other Carson H0 models, the two VW buses in this set can be operated alternately in a flash using the radio remote control of the combo set - switching between up to 15 vehicles is easily done using the up-down buttons on the remote control . However, this radio remote control is unfortunately not compatible with the normal H0 radio control models from Carson. I explain more about this in the video starting at 22 minutes 25 seconds.
After constantly being asked about the prices of the models I feature in unboxing videos - this combo set with the Carson item number 500504152 has an RRP of €195.

Wäre bestimmt unterhaltsam, wenn man mit solchen Winzlingen Rennen fahren würde. Deutlich anspruchsvoller als Carrera.
Ja, Straßenrennen könnten mit solchen ferngesteuerten Autos durchaus auch Spaß machen.
Tolles Video! Was mir persönlich nicht gefällt, ist, dass beim jeweils nicht gesteuerten Fzg die Scheinwerfer blinken. Hätte man wirklich 15 Fahrzeuge an einer Fernbedienung registriert, hätte man immer 14 Fahrzeuge blinkend auf der Anlage stehen. Das geht dann eigentlich nicht. Aber ansonsten schon klasse, was die in so ein kleines Modell an Technik unterbringen.
Freut mich, dass Ihnen mein Video gefällt. Ja, die blinkenden Scheinwerfer sind in der Tat unschön, aber das ist halt an den Pairing-Vorgang vieler 2,4 GHz-Modelle angelehnt worden. Angenehmer und realistischer wäre es vielleicht, wenn das Pairing beispielsweise durch eine permanente Parkbeleuchtung des linken Scheinwerfers und Rücklichts signalisiert werden könnte oder durch schwach leuchtende Standlichter an der Front. Allerdings weiß ich leider nicht, was in den Köpfen der Entwickler der Unternehmen vor sich geht. Ich weiß nur und habe das auch schon im Video geäußert, dass leider derzeit das Combo-Set nicht zu den anderen Carson-H0-Fahrzeugen kompatibel ist. Ich bin aber schon neugierig, ob auf der Spielwarenmesse kompatible Fahrzeuge oder neue Combo-Sets vorgestellt werden.
kleiner Hinweis:
Im Gegensatz zum Unimog-Modell haben die Modelle vom VW Bus keine Achsschenkel-Lenkung. Ich würde mich daher für den Unimog entscheiden.
Das ist halt alles auch eine Frage des Platzes und der Wirtschaftlichkeit. Den Unimog muss ich mir dann unbedingt bei Gelegenheit etwas mehr aus der Nähe anschauen - einfach nur aus Interesse, denn für ein Unboxing ist der ja schon viel zu lange auf dem Markt.
For anyone interested, a well known german hobbystore has these 1:87 RC cars for sale at a significantly discounted price: 69,99 euro (from now untill the end of february). I don't want to post commercial links (eventhough I'm not in any way affiliated, just want to be helpful) and even if I did I can't because youtube doesn't allow links of any kind. But if you google for modelbahn and union it shouldn't be too difficult to find these cars.
And to Peter, if you prefer not to have these type of references mentioned in the comments, feel free to delete this post :)
oh this specific kit with the two cars is a bit more expensive: 119,99 euro but still quite a bit below the mrsp.
The reference to Modellbahn Union is ok for me and the tip to search for it via Google is also ok. So far I have avoided things like affiliate links on my channel.

Why cant you use the same remote for ofher cars thats reallly a shame….
Unfortunately, I don't know why Tamiya-Carson didn't manage to make the new remote control compatible with the old vehicles. I also think that it's really very inconvenient. That's why I mentioned it explicitly in my unboxing.
Yes, you are 100% right. Are there newer versions of rc cars that will work with this remote?
No, unfortunately they didn't announce any new products in this direction at the toy fair

... und das ganze wünschen Sie sich dann vermutlich maximal zum halben Preis ... 😉 ... ob dieser Wunsch erfüllbar ist? Aber es freut mich sehr, dass Sie wohl nach wie vor gerne Videos von mir anschauen ... viel Spaß weiterhin!
