      @@DepthFromAbove until he got exposed in zone coverage which is what Philly ran instead of the man-to-man scheme Oakland ran. Don’t kid yourself. In 2007 he allowed only 10 catches and in 2008 he allowed just 8 - only 2 players got more than 1 catch against him that year: Randy Moss who had 3 catches and Tony G who had 2. He was an island when he was in Oakland.

      The later years he was senile and passed it, but the Raiders were one of the most successful franchises for years. Plus he was the first to hire minorities as coaches and women in front office. He did get in his own way at times and burned bridges, but, I would never doubt his football acumen.

      He was considered a shut down corner b4 Revis got that title but yea I agree. Champ did it FOREVER n had the stats to back it up, Revis did it for a good little while n had some years where his stats lived up with his dominance n Namdi was really good for about 3 maybe 4 year stretch.

    I lived in the dorms all my 4yrs too. Like Nnamdi it was convenient. I too was the “senior” guy in the dorm. Those were some of the best days of my young adult life.

      @Charlie B im mean it's not like he was able to get the Raiders to win 12 divisional championships, 3 Super bowls or have more thab 12 players n coaches reach the hall of fame.. Or appear in more than 4 Super bowls.. Oh when he went from a coach in San Diego to the Raiders it's not like he changed the whole franchise around in one year n producing an over 60% winning from the 60s to the 90s.. Nah Al Davis didn't do that..

    One of my all time favorite Raiders 🏈. I remember that he drove an old I think Nissan while everyone else were driving fancy luxury cars. A total class act👍🏻

    I really wonder how Nnamdi's career would've been like if he had stayed at Safety. He definitely had the size for it, was a solid tackler, good instincts, and had a great work ethic. He mentions that the transition to CB was super difficult, and his first couple seasons back that claim up, so I could only imagine the progress he'd make in a position that he already felt comfortable in.
