hey man great video! So i have a problem with a recently bought vfc gbb m4 mag, first it leaks from the bottom which i disassemble and lubed up, from then no problem. however, recently whenever i fill the gas, theres a sharp hissing sound coming out of the injection valve. i disassembled the valve and lube up the oring and reassembled it, but the sound still comes out, i assume its leaking because when i cover up the injection valve, the sound stops. Any ideas or advice? thank you in advance!
i had this problem with a magazine that came with a new VFC GBBR. i suspect the goons at the store that aold me the gbbr swapped out the new magazine that's suppose to be packed in its own plastic and box for one of their own heavily used mag. they did because the mag was missing the official licensed trademarks of HK. i contacted the store owner and they made it right
Hi i just ordered a VFC HK416d gbb overseas and was wondering if you could do a video on how to reassemble it as im going to receive it in 3 pieces due to customs
Hey man, thanks for the comment. Which parts of the gun would come separately? Then I can look at making that for you. Is it the upper, lower recievers and the barrel?
@@iamairsoft im not too sure yet as ive just ordered the gun and should reveive it in about 14 days from. Thank you for offering to do that for me really appreciate and alsocould you tell me your general opinion of the VFC hk416d gbb?
@@danmang923 oh ok, they are pretty fast ship. I use them for parts mostly. I got mine from Jkarmy. They are super fast. Generally a 7 days wait from the day you order.
Hey man, late comment here I know but how did you get the mags to fit into the hk416d? I recently got a Umarex KWA HK416D, bought the same mags that you have on video I think (vfc atleast) but they dont work because of the magwell design. What did you do to make it work? Thanks in advance :)
Dude I did EVERYTHING you told me to and theyre leaking even worse. This is pure garbage these mags. And these are BRAND NEW OUT OF THE BOX. I am so upset how much these costs what a waste of money it is giving VFC bad rep when they aren't even used yet....shame on them and their prices
Just had the same thing. I bought 2 new mags. One leaked straight away, the other after it was left int the sun and warmed up a little. The second one improved after squirting in some Abbey Maintenance gas, but the first one didn't improve. I followed this video, and mine is now worse too (it's become unusable). Nothing wrong with the video, but there's obviously a problem with the latest mags. Meanwhile, the original that came with the gun, and one I bought a couple of months ago, are still perfect. They don't fit so tightly in the mag well, which suggests they're a whole different batch (or made to a different spec)
@@rostokmcspoons i have the same thing with 6 new mags. Did it leak near the piston valve or whatever its called (the thing that you press to get the gas out)?
@@electric9488 it seems to be the knocker valve that's the problem, but the leaking slowed a little when really tightening up the screw on the inside of the mag. I'm on the Airsoft UK forum, and another guy there ordered a pair the same day I did. He too has the same problem, but he stripped it down and re-oiled all the seals. His are now working ok. I got permission from the seller (Land Warrior airsoft) to do the same thing but I couldn't fix mine. They've been sent back for fixing or replacement. We both found the mag did not fit easily into the mag well like our older ones. He found the two screws in the top of the mag can cause the problem to be worse when over tightened. Maybe that's a problem that causes leakage too
An update on my new leaky mags... I sent them back to Land Warrior and they came back fixed. Unfortunately I don't know what they did to fix em, I'll try to get some info. But they got through a day skirmishing without any problems (beyond the fact they're still sticking in the mag well)
Do your magz leak? How do you deal with this issue? Let me know :D
may i know which brand of o ring oil you have used in the video? Thanks!
i recommend using synthetic grade 1 or 2 grease. Syntheitc particles are uniformingly sized and makes a better longer lasting seal.
Great video, really helps me
Nice video. You sound like Korg.
Hahaha that rocks😜 thanks for watching my man.
Thank you!!

Same problem here…I screwed the 2 bolts really tight, seems no problem now, but I will test them later with new can of gas.

Bru you're doing more preventative maintenance than I am already 😂👍.
#TheyGrowUpSoFast
😂😂😂 a little more reactive than preventative 😆😆😆
@@iamairsoft ah, that's more like me then. Fake it til you break it, ma man
@@stewbacca117 You DEFINITELY don't fake it bro😂🗡☢ unless you mean fake as in replica hahaha
Thank you for information!
please tell me the size of oring is largest at 7'21, tks so much
if you want to prevent leaking mags, just do this once in a while

Since you got the KWA 416D the VFC 416 mags probably wont work. They are designed for the VFC 416D and 416A5
What mm hex key does the mag take?? Both of my mags leaked aggressively and VERY loud OOTB. Pathetic.
Don't over tighten the 3 screws or they will strip easily.
The only way I could stop hearing the leak was to tighten them as tight as possible just before stripping them
