Aww mom needles are so much better on the ears than guns. My daughter did hers with a safety pin (not recommended) but she said it was less painful then the one side she got done at the store. Tattoo/piercing shops are the way to go!

After that, you will bloom into a beautiful young lady with beautiful earrings. GUYS DONT GET YOUR EARS PIERCED WITH A GUN!!!! It’s super bad for you, they cause tissue damage since the tip is normally super dull. The guns also can’t be sterilized properly. It’s best to get them done with a needle(NOT A SAFTEY PIN!!!) and to get them done professionally. A lot of tattoo shops will do them for you. And if you’re worried about the needle hurting, the gun hurts more bc of the dull end. (This includes at Claire’s)

The guns are a lot harder to clean and they can easily carry bacteria and infections that you don’t want when getting your ears pierced. A needle can be easily cleaned and you won’t have to worry about someone else’s bacteria in your new piercings. Thats why guns cost a lot less than needles, and why sometimes the more expensive option might just be safer. (However I am not stating that ALL piercings you get with a gun will cause infections, it’s just that there is a much higher risk compared to the needles)
