i think if a player reach's a certain "report" threshold then the decision to ban a player should be reviewed by an actual person...or even further down the rabbit hole...at a certain report number, have ricochets built in "Kernel" level capability's take over and actually scan the players PC

Saying you banned 20,000 cheaters and 8,000 spam reporters doesn’t give a good feeling at all. If the game has 500,000 active players at any given time. That means 1 in 18 people are cheating. So one cheater every 2 games in multiplayer and 6 cheaters per game in warzone. This number is also pretending that they banned every single cheater in warzone.
@ even if I use 3 million concurrent players and the number of banned accounts, that ration is still 1 in 107. It still amounts to 1 cheater per game of Warzone. And 1 cheater every 9 games of MP (13 games for ranked). The real problem is. This is just how many games the banned accounts were affecting. The fact that they ban 10,000+ cheaters at any given time means the problem is way bigger
Being completly transparent can the cheaters ever be stopped considering that the programs can be tweaked and devlopled to work again in 2 days. Something has to give cause the game is dying out fast because of this issue.

People were already doing it on warzone almazra, they would create a script to report someone from your last match, it was quite easy to do. It did lead to a lot of shadow and, to the point Activision posted the tweet about that they were gonna punish spam reporters.

Lobbies are dead man. If you do get a game its not a full lobby and for me mostly chinese players with glitches, cheaters and lobby crashing bastards. I cant even get a duo or trio game and stuggle to get a quads game with english speaking people.

I read on twitter that cheaters can get people shadowbanned with a press of a button where their cheat software puts 100 reports on one player. If that is true that's crazy.
counter strikes overwatch system was good. only lets high ranks review the games of reported people, and the purpose is to only confirm they are cheating beyond a shadow of a doubt. and if the overwatch person says they are cheating then they get banned. it was also great youtube content.

From both activision and the cheater. Example: i am a new player, i love cod. I buy the battlepass and blackcell. Queue up, have a few good games. Im beaming feeling good. I smoke a cheater. They are a bot like usual. Spam reports me. Boom, I lose a week false flagged. Meaning i lost a week of in game time to complete the battle pass. You lost a week on a battle pass you paid for. If it keeps happening. You are gonna have to play in shadow lobbies and may never actually be able to complete it. Because you cant gain enough XP. Activision should for false flagged players give them a completed pass if they purchased it. At least.
