The Nampally exhibition started during the rule of Hyderabad’s last Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan in the year of 1938. It was started by a group of Osmania University graduate students with the intention to display locally created products. The first exhibition event had 100 stalls, and was organised at the Public Gardens. However, later the venue was shifted to the present venue
