Watching clips of Ms. Hepburn in 1991, I've come to the realization that her je ne sais quoi is actually a winsome melancholia. There's something slightly sad and sweet about her face, the cadence of her speech and her graceful bearing. You can see it even in the film roles of her youth. They'll never be another like her!
Justice J. Srisuk THAT'S IT!!! you've hit the nail on the head. there's a melancholy about her which suggests a great depth of feeling. it's why I love her!
Audrey Hepburn, she carried herself in the most graceful and elegant way, beautiful and regal, this is how every Hollywood star should expose to the world, Hubert de Givenchy was a master, Audrey his perfect muse.
Audrey Hepburn is timeless. She left us my years ago but her style and place in fashion history is permanent. Btw, I remember this clip when shown originally on Tim's show Fashion File which I looked forward to every Saturday. More cerebral than some of the others back in the day. Loved that show.
This is amazing, I love seeing Hepburn beyond her Breakfast at Tiffany's dress. Even older, she's one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen. I don't think beyond the Galliano/McQueen era Givenchy has made it to the heights it had when Hubert was at the helm. When you see Hepburn and the retrospective of Givenchy compared to rottweilers and stars on overpriced baseball caps and sweaters it makes me sad.
not to mention he discontinued doing shows the house known for it haute couture in the haute couture calendar... well riccardos muse the kardashians and kanye is just an insult to the house original muse audrey..... according to what i read in the history it was supposedly given to an unknown designer dominique sirop to take over as a creative director for the house of givenchy since hubert himself knows him and work for him for a period of time but then LVMH didnt want him cause he was not popular so they choose galliano
Miss Audrey Hepburn was & will always be the CLASSIEST!! There were & will be many Glamourous Women on & off the silver Screen....but "Eliza Dolittle" will Always be the Greatest !! Cheers from INDIA !!!!!
Hi everyone, Audrey ist still amazingly beautiful, especially her radiance , Provided that she hasen't gone for Beauty surgery . In any Case, she ist an incredible " Event." Love Conny
Watching Givenchy designs is like watching Dior`s or Balenciaga`s lines, you could know which dress belongs to which designer, they all had character!!! That`s what`s missing nowadays in this desposable-oriented "fashion" industry, quantity not quality.
If she wasn't so skittish about getting colonoscopies to check for colon and rectal cancer, MAYBE SHE WOULD HAVE STILL BEEN WITH US. GET CHECKED, DEARS!!!!;

Audrey Hepburn is the most perfect embodiment of the phrase "One and only"
NO. That's Olivia Octavio Cortez.
We shall never see her like ever again

Audrey was flawless and Givenchy was a fashion genius, how could they NOT go down in fashion history?
Mouth Agape. The both of them were just as beautiful in their youth as they were in their old age
Love to see an older Audrey, makes she even more real, and far more admirable!!!

Simply Perfection & Timeless Elegance . . . AUDREY HEPBURN • GIVENCHY by HUBERT de GIVENCHY
They don't make them like Audrey anymore. Such class and subtle, humble sophistication is severely lacking in today's Hollywood climate.
love both of them , she is fabulous
