I like your optimism about not worrying about whether the Packers will play the Eagles. The part about the Packers beating the Eagles years ago and advancing to the Super Bowl is very nostalgic. It reminds me of how the "frozen tundra" at Lambeau Field favors Green Bay and puts their opponents at a disadvantage. Sadly, the final scores of those games have not been good. Green Bay has floundered against top-tier teams the entire season. The Packers run the ball exceptionally well and can script explosive plays, but they seem to struggle with incorporating the intermediate passing game into their scheme. I didn't notice Matt LaFleur calling many plays when Jordan Love was blitzed, such as screen passes that could yield possible yards after the catch. I saw a frustrated head coach married to a long-passing game that was shut down by man-to-man defense. I can't let my loyalty to the Packers obscure the reality that [for now] might be the Packers, and that's a team that seems to get in its way when it plays outstanding teams. I want to be wrong, but we won't win until we can keep from losing. I hope this young Packers team grows and learns due to these tough losses. I'm happy the Packers will play in the post-season, and they may run deeper into it next year if the front office shores up the secondary and acquires an edge rusher who knows how to wreck a game. For now, I look forward to the last regular season game at Lambeau Field, where the tundra will be cold, and ownership of a rival team hopefully continues. I enjoy your podcast! Go Pack Go!!!
That’s not even my problem. My problem is the inconsistency. If you were gonna do your Dan Campbell impression, do it early at the goal line. After the packers kicked it the first time, they should’ve doubled down. At least they would’ve had 6 points. Basically a TD from those two possessions.
@@jumbojoe3030 great take. its not about going for it on 4th down or not going for it, its about consistency. if you go for it both times on the 4th down, there's a chance you wouldn't get it either time, but 0 vs 3 points isn't a big difference. But its far more likely you would've got it one of the two times and had 7 points on the board. or you go for it the first time, get it and than kick the field goal the second time and have 10 points, or best case you go for it twice and have 14. Or you Kick it both times knowing you aren't the detroit lions on offence and have a solid 6 points. But being inconsistent about it is the worst way to go

As I watched Jordan Love play something started to become clear to me. He’s playing scared and LaFleur is calling plays scared because of all the interception talk earlier in the year. I bet they lose to the Bears next week and then lose to Philly in the wildcard. Looking back on the season I think Jordan felt the pressure of his contract, then he got injured and pushed because of that pressure and that caused his groin injury and then he pushed even harder, he hasn’t looked comfortable all year. LaFleur needs to get Love confident and comfortable again or this could all turn south real quick
Packers don’t deserve anything but the 7th seed. To be the best you must beat the best. Bring on the Philly Turkeys, Loins & Queens…. If we are Championship Team we win.
Here’s two good things and one bad thing about the playoffs. One. We made the playoffs . Good. Two. The 49’s missed the playoffs so we won’t lose to them again. Good. Three. The Cowboys missed the playoffs. Who can we beat now? Bad.
Packers ceiling this year is a wild card win. Offense is too inconsistent (specifically the passing game) to make a run as our D cant stop everyone. Packers need to draft some pass rushers and CB's next draft and have Quay Walker as a rotation guy because Cooper is clearly the better player. Also, trade Jaire as he was washed even when healthy this year. Yea Packer fans can get mad all they want but its the truth
I feel like the narrative is packers cant beat elite teams which is true so far this season…imagine the amount of ppl who will bet on eagles and what vegas would look like after the packers win
I hope that this off season Brian Gutenkunts goes out and spends some money in free agency on an edge rusher because it just isn't happening for us..don't get me started on Jordan Love he just don't seem to be playing with any kind of urgency..and all of that hoopla about Jeff Hafley defense was just that..Matt La Flouer has got to drill home the urgency and let a lot of these guys on both sides of the ball know that they're playing for their job security..get rid of Jaire Alexander and Watson too.
the packers need look at the plays from last year and the year before they are becoming to predictable and at times need to just quick pass to mess up the pass rush also they need a man to man on a few players up close tight ends and running backs especially .they can do this they should win.
Rather lose to vikings, lions and eagles in the regular season. Can't wait to play all 3 of them in January. If the Packers were in there shoes, ide be just a tad worried about beating us 2 to 3 times.
Ngl, I’m not liking this rn for my pack 🤣🤣. The issue is every team in the nfc is looking better than us at this moment, even rams who we beat earlier this season. I hope Lafleur has something cooking cause we’re gonna need it against Philly.
The Bears should have beat GB the last game, but for a blocked FG. Would not be surprised if the Packers lose to the Bears at Lambeau, the way Love has been playing.
After that Vikings game, my hopes aren’t high. If Jacobs isn’t gna get 150yds and 2 TDs, we lose sad to say. And did anyone else think it looked like Jacobs dropped that fumble on purpose? That was my first thought watching the replay last night.
if Matt lafluer kicks the field goal in the quarter when we were down 4 INSTEAD OF GOING FOR IT ON 4TH DOWN.( to me that was the play of the game)we might have beaten the Minnesota Vikings yesterday 😭. at least we would have made the Vikings work for it instead of leaving it up to the referee to dictate the outcome of the game considering that the kicker for the Vikings MISSED 2 FIELD GOALS!! management failed the Packers not the players in my opinion
@ I’m cool with going for it. You gotta take chances against the better teams and our offense has to be able to convert. Works great for the Lions, but their offense has proven to be capable of it. Wicks and Reed gotta catch the damn ball!!! 🤣
@ Like I said, my hopes aren’t high this year for my Packers. At least we get to watch them in the playoffs. Maybe some of that magic from last year kicks in. 🤞🏻
Whyyyyyy do i feel like the Packers are gonna play really good football in the playoffs? I just feel like they are gonna crank it up and give teams a hell of a fight. I dunno, maybe im just going bat crap.
I really dont care for the 6th seed. If the Packers wanna make a statement, winning in Philly is a good start. Chances are thats where they will play as DalASS isnt gonna beat the Commanders
I realize they're in the playoffs, but a big part of me feels so bad for Jordon Love and the Packers. They've worked so hard and been through so much --- they deserve greatness this year. Lets all take a moment and pray for our Packers --- and let their heart, determination and grit...give the strength to climb this mountain. GO PACK GO! ❤
BTW......the packers vs. viking game was not even close. score is very misleading.....how darnold threw the ridiculous interception in 3rd quarter to give the pack life is beyond reason. then vikings went conservative....packers got lucky to even have a chance........
To me it looks like the packers are holding back, not running the offensive like they could. Maybe not showing their potential saving that for playoffs.
The Packers will be one and done unless Lafluer gets his head out of his a$$ when calling the game and the players stop the stupid mistakes (penalties) and play like the pros they are suppose to be.
You got some packers fan that believe in their team and never put them down. And than you have got me that’s gonna tell you how it is. Jordan and mechanics and decision making is so trash. Imma get on the defense to don’t worry but Jordan is our leader and got paid he’s address first. You some packers fan that delusional and say Jordan love accuracy is good.. yea no that’s far from the truth he makes difficult throws an makes it hard for his receivers( the receivers has had some drops and miscommunication but we are to far in the season to blame them it’s not them) I been seeing it too long. And then Jordan will make a throw so good u will go he’s so good. Hes not consistent he has bad habits. I believe when Jordan focusing on his ability to make accurate throws he is a good quarterback but when other things come into play and Jordan cant just focus on his ability he’s has to think about other things like how to start the drive or if a defense blitz him where is it coming from or the 2 minute warning. And jordan attention is now away from his ability and his normal instincts come into play and Jordan love normal instincts are bad habits. Jordan can’t focus on his ability all the time he has to create good habits but You practice to get out those habits. Ion think Jordan love practice his mechanics as he should I do agree it’s a team game and you play as a unit but you also wanna be great at what u doing master yourself first so u can be good with them. And boy that defense is so trash we got injuries but man the “injuries” jaire u not hurt get yo scary back. But cooper is literally and Xavier is carrying us rn
LeFleur will do his stupid, predictable shit in the playoffs that he's done all season. Throw unnecessary challenge flags and go for it on 4th and 1 in the red zone instead of getting points on the board when it's not a do or die situation and getting the defense pumped for the stop. He's been just as disappointing as any other mistakes the Packers have made. Just sloppy this year.
who have the Vikings beat besides the packers? If the packers are pretenders what does that say about the vikings? It all comes down to who performs on the day
So explain how we made the playoffs 😂 you make no sense. 11-5 isn’t a playoff team? Losing by 2 points to the best teams in the league as your only losses isn’t a playoff team? Are broncos not a playoff team?
Dude we suck love will cost us the game first round thays just thr truth throwing the ball deep on 3rd down everytime love looks lost outbthere and and scared we suck

Packers are playing sloppy tho, this isn’t last year. Different team.
@marcalvarezps4 vikings and lions are much better this year it is what it is
@@gopackgo4868 the eagles had a collapse last year too somewhat like the cowboys
Im a Packers fan but unfortunately they won’t be able to stop Saquon
Eagles or any team the Pack meet in the playoffs are going to be Good, if the Pack play one half of Good football 🏈 the Packers are in trouble.
Not a problem playing the Eagles? Barkley is about to break Dickerson's single season rushing record, Halen Hurts will probably be back & we always struggle against a using game and mobile QB.. .bring on the Rams.
I think the play calling put love in bad scenarios. We had some decent drops and was pressured the whole time. I still think we can turn it around though.
@@ConnorSecor-xi8pl yea keep dreaming Jordan love can't handle the pressure until then he's going to struggle against pressure defenses know that now facing Jordan love
@ youngest team in the league
@@gopackgo4868when did Jordan’s love ever crumble under pressure against the Vikings
@Ovken the whole game lol what game were you watching 👀
@@gopackgo4868 never say him crumble under pressure. Notice how you don’t answer the question so you throw out a bland ass false statement? 😂 typical. Good for 1 year, horrible for 10, and you think you’re a good franchise
Take the points on the road, cripes...
Where the F is Jaire Alexander????!!????
Packers need to dump his sorry ass.
He should b back by the playoffs 😊
At home getting paid to not get burnt.
Another setback in his knee. You’re just hoping he’s ready for the playoffs, but it’s probably doubtful
Packers don’t deserve anything but the 7th seed. To be the best you must beat the best. Bring on the Philly Turkeys, Loins & Queens…. If we are Championship Team we win.
How are eagles the best if they haven’t beat a single good tea.
@@Ovken They beat the Packers….
@@REIronminer I thought you just said the packers weren’t a good team?
@@Ovken Not at all. Reading comprehension will serve you well. Packers are very good; not great yet…Yet. That day is near.
@@Ovken Eagles are 5-2 vs playoff teams. What are u even babbling about? Your dumbass really thinks the Ravens arent good? LOL
I’m concerned. Barkley is a monster.
Here’s two good things and one bad thing about the playoffs. One. We made the playoffs . Good. Two. The 49’s missed the playoffs so we won’t lose to them again. Good. Three. The Cowboys missed the playoffs. Who can we beat now? Bad.
Seems like we can only beat the bears and cowboys
Commanders have tie-break on Packers due to conference record, not strength of schedule. Washington is 8-3, Green Bay is 6-5. Go Cowboys
first round exit against the eagles, sucks but it will happen
Packers can’t win when it matters the most.
Lmao, surprise, surprise. Greenbay screws up again. What a shock 😂😂😂😂😂
GO PACK GO BABY ALL DAY!!👍🧀
At the end of the day, the Pack isn't the team a lot of people think they are. Just facts.....
Packers can’t win with good teams. Why haven’t they done it yet. They always beat themselves up bad at the beginning.
Add in the need for healthy corners, who are not injury prone
the packers need look at the plays from last year and the year before they are becoming to predictable and at times need to just quick pass to mess up the pass rush also they need a man to man on a few players up close tight ends and running backs especially .they can do this they should win.
Go pack go!
The Bears should have beat GB the last game, but for a blocked FG. Would not be surprised if the Packers lose to the Bears at Lambeau, the way Love has been playing.
When's J Alexander coming back 😁
hopefully never and some team is dumb enough to give us a good trade
@papabilby8855 Love needs to be more Accurate.
@ Like I said, my hopes aren’t high this year for my Packers. At least we get to watch them in the playoffs. Maybe some of that magic from last year kicks in. 🤞🏻
Blame the coaches
Our coach lost that game
Those who know, know. Packers will be just fine.
They you're not in the know!
I rather play eagles then rams in my opinion
Whyyyyyy do i feel like the Packers are gonna play really good football in the playoffs? I just feel like they are gonna crank it up and give teams a hell of a fight. I dunno, maybe im just going bat crap.
I really dont care for the 6th seed. If the Packers wanna make a statement, winning in Philly is a good start. Chances are thats where they will play as DalASS isnt gonna beat the Commanders
Eagles fans r not concerned
Good for me
I realize they're in the playoffs, but a big part of me feels so bad for Jordon Love and the Packers. They've worked so hard and been through so much --- they deserve greatness this year. Lets all take a moment and pray for our Packers --- and let their heart, determination and grit...give the strength to climb this mountain. GO PACK GO! ❤
weirdo alert
The Lions, Vikings, and the Rams would all beat the Packers, and that's only on the NFC side of the league...
Who cares about seeds. They must win regardless. There are top tier teams. You need to have your A game.
BTW......the packers vs. viking game was not even close. score is very misleading.....how darnold threw the ridiculous interception in 3rd quarter to give the pack life is beyond reason. then vikings went conservative....packers got lucky to even have a chance........
Watson is not the problem
Packers are a good team. They are not great
Packers aren’t ready for playoffs. Still an average team
To me it looks like the packers are holding back, not running the offensive like they could. Maybe not showing their potential saving that for playoffs.
Holding back ? that was basically a playoff game yesterday. Got spanked
I think we've seen the best of the Pack already this season...
😂😂😂😂😂no brah
😂😂😂😂😂no brah
Go Pack Go, beat the Bears
Packers with a bookend season losing to Eagles to start season and to end season.
Eagles have better everything.
The Packers will be one and done unless Lafluer gets his head out of his a$$ when calling the game and the players stop the stupid mistakes (penalties) and play like the pros they are suppose to be.
Ask Vegas,
You got some packers fan that believe in their team and never put them down.
You should try reading "Third Grade English for Dummies"...Holy shit that was tough to read what you wrote...
@@ericpadilla2454that’s coo
Great you did not not say not
LeFleur will do his stupid, predictable shit in the playoffs that he's done all season. Throw unnecessary challenge flags and go for it on 4th and 1 in the red zone instead of getting points on the board when it's not a do or die situation and getting the defense pumped for the stop. He's been just as disappointing as any other mistakes the Packers have made. Just sloppy this year.
This is a very flawed team.
Flawed coach
Sorry but packers wont go far. Love starts games against tough opponents way too slow. Been like that his whole career.
Let’s just call a spade a spade, if we play the Eagles… we going home first round.
