  • Written and Directed by Charles Doran. Winner of the 2005 Boston Underground Film Festival best short film award. Played in about 15 festivals. Originally a class project for UCLA Extension's "Art of Super-8" class in the Spring of 2000. This was expanded over the next few years and submitted to film festivals from 2003-2005. Shot entirely on Plus-X and Tri-X Super-8 film stocks and telecined by Film & Video Transfers in Chatsworth, CA. Titles created digitally by Charles LeCoanet). Music by Eckankore. Starring librarian Stephanie Archer who is playing a character based not only on an obnoxious classmate from the UCLA program but also based on a composite of women I met at Jabberjaw as well as the usual Maximum Rock n' Roll types (lol)...
This film was also inspired by Sarah Jacobson’s incredible short film, “I Was a Teenage Serial Killer” which I saw at a Los Angeles zine convention in the early ‘90s.
