Thanks for bringing us along Stevie. Your sentiments spoken in the last few minutes are exactly right & no doubt how many of us feel. Your trip reminded me about a few overnights i did on unvisited banks of Loch Lomond some years ago. The evening stillness & sounds of nature were magical. Early morning visitors of Beavers & Deer, right upto my camp were something I'll never forget. Time stood still & the feeling of peace was awe-inspiring. I'm watching this on a Sunday eve in the comfort of my living room, yet I'm kicking myself for not getting out there this weekend & making the most of it, of nature...just like you have here. All the best
Very good. Actually made my hairs on my arms rise for a minute! I try not to worry about the things happening on the news as how twisted is it and it’s not going to change anything. But yes it’s a bit of a mess. Great video 👍👀
Lovely Steve. Just found your channel and really enjoying it. Inspired me to try and get out and do some of this. Hopefully more videos from you soon. Thank you
Holy s..., mate! In this video, you combined a nice, autumnal nature documentary with Blair witch type horror scenes and serious political commentary about current World events. And all of it perfectly executed. Hats off! You're taking youtube videos to a whole new level.
I actually find hammock and tarp camping preferable to a tent in misty and damp conditions. The condensation on the inside of the tent just makes everything feel cold, whereas the airflow of the hammock setup means you avoid this. For this night I just stayed fully clothed with a hammock quilt on top and then my chore coat on top of that, and wore a wooly hat. Slept like a baby!
I enjoyed this video very much, Stevie, the atmospheric filming and that erie music are very effective, as well as the wobbly camera work in the beginning. Camping alone is something I don't have the guts for yet, but I get inspiration of this for sure. Ypur reflections at the end of the video make absolute sense, the horror of today's world...that's exactly what it is... More of this please! 😇
I did have to stop the video and go back a bit to see the inserts, to see what I was missing. There is nothing better than getting out of the Rat Race and it's constantly evolving insanity that we are subjected to these days. It make you yearn for peace and tranquility of a beautiful place or even getting lost in nostalgia of how simple life was of yesteryear.
Thanks David, have had to take a bit of a hiatus to deal with some life stuff but looking to relaunch the channel with a whole bunch of new content soon. Thanks for watching 🙂
Haha... very nicely done. And I so agree with your poignant observations near the end. And I love the filming and the music. I'm not even slightly frightened of ghosts et al, it's real people that are terrifying. Great video.
All good video, but the scary thing is Acctually what they do on that island . . . Let’s just say goats ain’t the type of ritual they do there . . . 😢😢
Where have you gone Stevie! Really missing your vids!
"That's where the horror is." Too true Stevie.. Too true.

Thanks! I really want to make a Loch Lomond video. I drove past it recently and looked magical
Wow - I was on the edge of my seat! The sound design and use of silence were particularly great. Fantastic sentiment at the end as well.
Thanks!
A relaxing autumn paddle and a beautifully shot sunset - followed by scaring the s"#& out of me. Classic work Stevie, loved it all.
Thanks glad you enjoyed it 🙏

That’s epic.
Love the solitude. Definitely work a subscribe.
Nice scenery, very relaxing. Was it cold with the mist and being so close to the water with just a tarp and not a tent?

I can explain everything,. You left your kayak upside down. ITIWIT backwards is TIWITI.. " TIWIITI WOOH" summoned an owl-demon.
National Geographic Channel + Discovery Channel

MUUHAHAHA 😅
Jeg fandt sådan et kranie som er fra en musvåge... Det bor i mit Danske skov terrarium i dag.... desværre er der ikke nogen spøgelser😅
