In regards to your cousin, I think the rehab facility need to amend that policy in regards to patients who have dementia or other health conditions that does not allow them to request their money to buy snacks. That was an excellent question especially when someone has dementia.I never thought about that being an Assistant Director of Nursing on a memory care unit.I thank you for bringing that question to my attention.

Mrs. North, the reason they do that is because uts in the best interest of the resident to keep their money in the office, locked up because staff has a way of taking residents money. I worked in a nursing home for 20 years and it was terrible how they took residents money.

My Grandson Jacob 🙂💞 had the same thing with him. Just as he got better, My daughter and I got sick, those babies germs. Good morning. My husband loves banana pudding but he can’ t eat bananas because they are high in potassium. He has renal disease and the potassium will cause him to have the jitters. You said just make the custard. What flavor can I use to give it a banana taste. I, too, make my custard from scratch

Mrs. North, the reason they do that is because uts in the best interest of the resident to keep their money in the office, locked up because staff has a way of taking residents money. I worked in a nursing home for 20 years and it was terrible how they took residents money.
