Excellent, but wish they had put subtitles; however, you can understand what’s going on anyway because there’s enough English. I know a few words in Spanish, so that helped.
The movie has subtitles, you just need to switch them on with the "CC" button.

@@MovieCentralonly the English spoken words appeared. There were no subtitles, in any language, when the actors were speaking Spanish. I tried too, no bueno.
The mother killed for the thrill of killing. There was more than enough money to start a new life. She never wanted to leave and nothing was done for Esther or for her benefit. Wow! Excellent movie.
It was a good flick, even could understand the Spanish by thier actions. It brings a new aspect to the border & the situational ethics that complicate their life!😢

Producers don't want the extra expense of CC in English..but they should..more viewers if translations are visible for those who failed 9th grade Spanish..

This is actually the first comment i have ever made on a movie channel. I always check the comments first. Sometimes i will give the movie a look regardless of the comments. I love movies. I love this channel. Ive seen awesome movies on different channels. BUT THIS!! First off, the script was well written and that is an understatement. The cast was incredible. Casting director should be applauded. Unique storyline. Sara Seligman did a fantastic job as director! I loved it. Obviously right 🤣🤣🤣.

This was excellent but very disturbing movie.
As a non-Spanish speaker it's a shame that most of the dialogue is in Spanish but without subtitles. I feel like I missed a lot of the movie.
Ikr…..lazy bilingual movie production can’t make some efforts with little subtitles. Just Spanish remix story similar of bender family.
You lost a lot of your life, you should try to get some notions of languages in your next.

How deep a woman can go, when she truly love's, Esther deeply loves bako but he was not patient enough to hear her advice,so deep I was in thought, nice movy , lesson learnt doing wrong things for future purpose, karma caught up with her, when a woman needs freedom she can go haywire 😢

Stupid movie, no sense it's far from the idea of what's the title says
I remember in real life, a father that controlled the family and in the get-away father made his son shoot at the police killing one , before their Grey Van crashed into a tree. The Sister to her brother tried to explain the father even checked their POOP to make sure they were NOT eating more food, and controlled how much toilet paper they used. BUT THE OFFICERS WIFE, I SAW the Hate in her eyes, the HATE for killing her husband. The Boy I think was 16, and convicted as an adult. We all know what adult Men's Prison does to a young one convicted to almost life in Prison. He is still there. News still shows the crash from time to time. My mother controlled me, making me think I was stupid. 365 days, every day Even later in life.
No subtitles for the Spanish speaking parts which is half the movie but still a good movie

I love the realistic acting. No flailing about, no fancy flowery speeches... Just a maturing girl, trying to help her family with something she can't even understand.

9/10 Very intense especially if you aren't bilingual. I'm not but only understanding half of 2 characters makes it even better. This was awesome! It really was! Wow! Impressed. I'll watch it again.
