man i think MAJOR props have to given to echo's VA cuz not only did she need to learn her own characters lines but the lines for EVERY other character in the game

I just love her. I skipped out on OverWatch for a long time, and well before I came back quite recently, while looking through the list of characters I saw her and had never heard of her before. Or at least, I didn't remember hearing about her.
The more I learned the more intrigued I was. I love everything about her, especially her personality, and especially her ability to Blue Mage copy an enemy. Copy or duplication is usually my favorite ability or magic or whatever in any game that allows it, and it's just a running theme I've noticed in my life. I was just surprised that this time it ended up on a character I also like the other moves for; her basic attack, secondary attack, and her beam are all just really cool and useful abilities that work well together and I think she's just a blast to play.
I'm still shit at the game; I only recently just started getting back into it and shooters in general, after an MS diagnosis earlier in the year and almost 2 years total of struggling with it by now, but I'm coming back into my own and I can at least compete in QP with my friends. I doubt I'll climb competitive like I once might have, but as long as I can play and have fun I'll be all right with that.

She’s definitely fun too play just starting playing her a couple days ago and love her and her set it’s soo funny to steal someone’s whole character and using it against them😂

echo main here! i love echo so much. she really is fun to play especially when you get her movement down. my favorite thing to do as echo is glide against slanted roofs and shoot enemies from an angle they cant even get me.
For the record, I absolutely love Echo. She's probably my favorite DPS character.

I play console. She seems fun, but with the whole gliding aspect, it’s too many buttons to push at once lol
I usa her and if you reconfigure the L1 (beam) and X (jump) by switching them you get a whole lot better at mobility and sky fighting; the first time might feel odd but when you get the hand of it it's much better imho.
Jump = L1
Focus beam = x

Ive been getting really into Echo recently! As a mystery heroes enjoyer I just love learning all the characters, so I'm a pro at whoever I ult with Echo as well
Im and echo main and she is sooooooo under rated and Bliz needs to give her more love!
I think she's so underrated because of a lot of people don't play her right. Now for dps I'm a soldier one trick, but I know how to play her, and in so many low rank lobbies I'll see Echoes playing in the air shooting from miles away. They don't use her to dive back lines, or tank bust. They just play her like phara and die to hitscan.

@temmlygaming5509 yeah I love seeing Anna when I'm on echo. You just go around some Corner, no one's paying attention to Sticky and hit him in the head. And if that fails, fly up into the sky or shoot then with the beam, but if they use suzu, lamp, nade themselves and get healed, that's still not that bad you squeezed out a lot of good cooldowns. I mean playing like Tracer flanking may be a bit map dependent, but it's very good nonetheless.
And also if you are flying in to dive the back line you're doing something wrong. You fly out after diving the backline, she makes very little noise when walking, her escape being loud is not that important.
More love? Like skins and cosmetics right? Balance team shouldn’t buff anyone until the strong ass heroes are nerfed and in not a frustrating spot
Idk balance wise i think shes in a fairly decent spot, if i had to change something id make her projectiles faster to be on par with most but thats about it
Idk if anybody else gets this but when I play ow2 and use echos duplicate on Mauga she clearly says, “adaptive circuits engaged, Mauma”

mauga's name, in samoan, is pronounced /ma.ˈu.ŋa/, aka, the g in it isn't pronounced like a G but like a combination of n and g. echo pronounces it correctly.
@nicorubio1504 Being a copy of her creators consciousness in addition to being a bleeding edge unique Omnic model, she would be a naturally gifted polyglot.

I’ve been a long term echo main,her play style is so flexible. You can play her like an assassin and go for flanks or play main.
Flank echo is so underrated too she can get so much done and even burst through pockets. Love echo
Echo is my favorite DPS. Diffing people on their own hero is always satisfying.
It's kinda shocking how little play Echo has. Yeah her ult may not be that good now, and is more like an immortality ability but she's just a more well-rounded Pharah with WAY better tank-busting potential. If you're fighting a Mauga, you basically get your ult every 2 fights.
I've been trying and failing to learn her the past couple days. She seems fun when you get good at her but the skill gap is high and I'm not sure I'm gonna manage to cross that threshold.
Iits a steep climb when it comes to skill learning with her... her abilities are easy but using them correctly is rough... I put in over 70 hours alone last season in comp. She is sooo much fun just continue to put in the time and you'll def be rewarded!
She’s good it’s just her cooldowns are everything with her and you have to practice resource management

I’m a big echo main for a while and only play her in quick play because in competitive it feels overwhelming to play her, but I’m just bad at
I like echo but dont. She's too reliant on stickies landing, but on top of that her beam relies on the enemies to not be healed. On squishies the ability for then to get above half health near instantly makes her beam useless UNLESS you're constantly taking 1vs1s, which right now tracer and sombra are better at
She needs a buff that if she's using an ult her form doesn't reset until the ult is over.
I love her i often chose to play even though people always switch soldier to counter

YO! Currently learning echo but since I'm seeing a lot of echo players can I get some recommendations on the Ultimate(Duplicate) targets from my fellow echo players. like what would y'all recommend to copy role or specific hero? my usual copy is Tank cause I am a tank player so its basically a comfort pick. Would love to see some takes for echo and I appreciate it ❤
I am not the best Echo main out there, but I would suggest trying copying supports when neccesary. Like in a big brawl situation, copying mercy and such helped me a lot.
Hey. I would say definitely avoid copying tanks. That would make you a very big target and unless you have good supports on your team, you won’t even get to utilize your ultimate before you revert back to echo. Stick to copying high damage dps or supports if you only have 1 support on your team.
wow i try to play echo like that id get toasted roasted and lightly caramelized from the first 30 seconds
the change they made to her ult is so dumb.. the whole point of it is to get the copy's ult but they made it so impossible and really useless to copy a tank too

Echo is one of those characters that's almost deceptively easy to play, especially since a majority of her abilities are projectile and I suck at them. When I manage to pop off as her it's a great feeling.
shes literally the best hidden assassin in the game. THE best. Her ultimate is cool but i think her maneuverability is very under utilized. And her kit makes it well enough efficient to get consistent picks and assassination potential to a T. her ultimate is great for utility (literally like what the devs said on her recent patch note) with duping a enemy support to keep people alive for ult or an ana nade.
Echo is the most fun character in the game utilizing many diffrent playstyles in one and just god shes amazing

Can someone tell me if sojourn is hitscan or projectile? Because the last few times ive played her, she felt like projectile, and i have to adjust my aim a bit but the last time i played soldier, i had no issues and had near perfect aim
Her normal shots are projectile but the railgun is hitscan

echo is pretty fun, its a shame that with illari and bap is borderline imposible to dive unless you got a pocket
You should still be fine as long as you can get stickies off on them. If nothing else they'll waste a cooldown.
@@asadmosley2748 i mean maybe but getting all the stickies from affar is really hard, and if your close they just throw down a lamp and kill you

@@Adoyleonon eh, it hits pretty hard and works well in big targets like bastion but between the speed and spread it gets a lot worse at range and smaller targets
Dive the illari, and bait baps cds and then dive him.. easy pickings.
I’m more of a support player but when I play dps I play echo and bad things happen to the enemies
It’s the way I have to play her to get kills. I’ll have the most damage in the game but a little amount of kills.

I think echo isn't seen that much due to her design being lacking, imo her design lacks interesting details and in a game with characters who have to stand out from each other she kinda just fades into the rest of the cast, I didn't touch her till I got the camo skin because it's a good skin that just looks better than her base design imo

You either die to the tank, or live long enough to see them kill your whole team

What are you on? Echo has never been in the Support role.
@@soulsurvivor8293 maybe do some research before looking like an idiot… echo was meant to be a support character throughout her development, they changed her to a dps at the later stages of her development and the only reason why she didn’t become a support is because her ult didn’t fit as in “echo ults but now you are down a support”

Nah I think she's better as a DPS. She's basically just a less annoying pharah with a very unique ult.

I love playing echo, but i kind of wish they reverted her ult back to how it was before, with the ult charges. And I'd also like seeing a nerf to focusing beam against tanks (only activating the extra damage at 25% hp rather than 50%) to make it feel more rewarding to actually kill one

she doesn't need one. they're all ugly anyway, her original is better than anything they could make and her new epics will use that model as a base so I'm so glad she avoided getting an ugly redo
