Very immersive! One tip tho, is that when the awkward infantry clash that blocks your archer's sight happened, you can F1F3 charge your archers. They would not charge with melee weapons but will move smartly and find the sweet spot that valley arrows into enemy lines, while keeping the distance. That is, of course, when they still have arrows left, so make sure you call them back to form a line when you notice they run out of arrow and start actually charging. Actually, for me, I always F1F3 my archers first thing in each battle, with infantry following behind. This was how ancient and medieval battles actually begin, skirmishers advance first and exchange their projectiles to cover the infantry, while disrupting enemy formations. As soon as enemy infantry advances, ranged unites fall back behind the infantry of course. This tactic is not only historically accurate, badass looking, while also tactically work in Bannerlord, I recommend you give it a try in your future videos, it must be immersive as hell for your Immersion Project.
FPS is almost always good, usually its the game engine shitting itself before my PC. I know there's a hard cap somewhere around 2000 entities (that includes mounts) in one scene where it always crashes and with people getting killed and leaving their mounts on the field, you get there pretty quick.
You fight really well. Do you have a mod for battle AI or is that just vanilla? Enemy AI in my campaign always just charges in and trickles back and forth for some reason. I'd Also have you ever had crashes/freezes near the end of a large battle? (3000v3000 and up). My campaign was in the mid to late game stage where you would start seeing massive battles and they always crash near the end for me. As reinforcements spawn in or as the enemy starts to rout is what I've noticed. I was even able to replicate it on a vanilla game with just a party size increaser mod installed for testing.
Yes and yes. Check the description (always) for mod details and such. The game engine is what tends to shit itself as it has a hard cap of 2000 something entities (that includes mounts) in one scene at a time, so if there's a lot of dead cavalry leaving their living horses behind, you get there pretty quick.
@@AlphaOmegaMan I am guessing you are on an older version of the game? Army Formations made easy has ModLib as a dependency and it does not work for 1.5.4 stable. That makes sense for the horses and reaching the cap, I'm thinking of editing partytemplates and just give all factions less cavalry at this point.
Their heavy spearmen are for sure the tankiest infantry in BIP at the moment, they just didn't have very many of them in this campaign, for this battle.
very nice @ 5:00 also that mace looks very effective, need to start using those more against heavily armored enemies
For sure, you can definitely tell the difference when you use one.
Very immersive!

Hey I just got my first gaming pc and I got bannerlord on steam, will/is this mod on the steam workshop?
P.S. I am still getting used to the wasd keys
Wait so 3200 men in this battle on the field?
Counting all the reinforcements coming in that you see, yeah. But not onscreen at the same time.
@@AlphaOmegaMan ok i see, are you runnning at 1000 usually or a bit higher?
Almost always on 1000, sometimes on 1200 but it can be hard to get through a whole battle without crashing on those levels
@@AlphaOmegaMan as you have a decent system is the FPS good for 1000+ battles and it crashes. Or is it bad fps and a crash. thanks just curious

Nice game
What mod do you use for the banners?
when do you think you can release your mod?
Look to my coming, at first light, on the fifth day. At dawn, look to the East.

They got numbers, amd the low tier infantry are pretty good.
