Susan the Doctor's granddaughter was one of the original companions from way back in the very first episode of Dr. Who back in 1963 during the early years of the First Doctor (William Hartnell). I enjoyed the episode but yeah i agree the ending with the singing and dancing kind of took me out of it i did enjoy the Maestro as a villain.
Susan (his granddaughter) was his first companion,whe the series began in 1963. She left during the second season,after marrying a man she fell in love when they travelled to future 22nd century earth.
I found this episode enjoyable for about the first 30 minutes; but the musical numbers became too repetitive after a while,and the musical number at the end was just too much!
