My feelings were *almost* hurt when you guys said the Chip sucks... but honestly I agree
I just had this 2 hours ago, and it barely hit the bottom of my stomach. It hurts a lot, I have reached the limit of spice for me. I’m capped, you have one beautiful but very very evil chip. The only way to express it is, like black widow in the beginning, and then it evolves into a black mamba that bites you multiple times over the course of 3+ hours.
My stomach cramps was BRUTAL!! I can take the heat from this chip but OH MY GOODNESS THE STOMACH PAIN

I’m a big fan of the channel! You are at least part of the reason my friends and I did this new one chip challenge a few weeks ago (and it was our first time ever doing the one chip challenge). We all rated at about a 5 or 6 on heat, not unbearable, but we all also had horrible stomach issues even after chewing it up well. Between the awful taste and the activated charcoal in our stomachs, we vowed to never do it again. Since then we have done much hotter challenges and had little to no stomach issues. Needless to say I’m not a fan of the chip. Once they actually start working on flavor I’ll be back...even the deathnuts taste much better.
I have a bottle of Xtreme Regret hot sauce and would like to send it to you for the channel, assuming you haven’t tried it yet. It is unopened and you can keep the bottle as well. If you’re interested, respond and let me know where to ship it. Thanks for all the great videos!

I've done this challenge twice so far and from my personal experience and from people I've done it with, the heat level is SUPER inconsistent, it is very much a tongue/cheek kind of burn and it is pretty fast to peak and start to fade but the 2nd time I did the challenge it was WAYYY worse.
So be careful going in thinking "oh it's about the same as a habanero"

I think the charcoal is for visual effects and psychological. Makes it taste slightly smoky like burnt ends.

Literally death. I ended up rolling on the bathroom floor as my stomach and body cramped, shaking and soaked in my own sweat and crying for Pepto bismol (drank a whole bottle and half of another) and milk..never again. Literal death 🤣

This years was a stroll in the park.
Ate one two weekends ago, ive eaten reaper jerky and a variety of hot sauces and seasonings. This chip hit my stomach like a freight train. The initial heat dissipated after 20 minutes but the stomach pain was a full day. Probably wouldn't do it again, but you never know.
I talked to my contact at PAQUI... and these chips were eluded to being lower quality in heat level... due to a production mistake. The next batch will be better... but those will again be the usual $10 per chip and not the $6 they are now! Just a FYI chili heads!

I got mine and ate it yesterday and I was honestly disappointed.....it didnt taste very well but I was more disappointed with the heat because it wasnt as hot as I was hoping for. So next I'm gonna try and eat 5 of them

I just got a pile of these at Circle K. I've yet to dare to eat them yet.

I did this chip with a buddy last night. Why didn't you tell me about the lava pee Brian!? Why?? The challenge itself is manageable (though it's insanely hot) but the gut bomb after is WAY worse than the challenge! Actually it's not so much a challenge as a gauntlet of separate challenges, each one more diabolical than the last.
Another awesome vid my friend but I did this challenge on my channel and it wrecked me on an empty stomach. You said last year's was hotter well I'm glad I didn't get one lol.

I was fine until chip 5. Only got to 8 before body fought me saying nope.
Mine was bad, but thats also because I put black garlic reaper sauce on it as well.
I don't think it's the mildest they've produced. I think your heat tolerance is just a lot higher.

I did the one chip challenge a few weeks ago. It was mi first "challenge". Seems like it hit me about the same, so I feel pretty good about myself.
The Sichuan pepper has a mouth numbing effect, it probably dulls the heat a little bit.

course the taste was bad but it had a longer lasting heat than 2021. when i did this years by 10mins it was like a dorito.last years did have that stale taste to them. had a second one for this year and couldnt tell the difference from when i bout them last year

I have thought about trying these, but I'm worried about my stomach. I had bariatric surgery (sleeve gastrectomy) in 2017, and really don't want to get an ulcer. I still like spicy stuff (did the Choco Challenge 2.0, nowhere near as bad as I was expecting), but am worried about going for the really spicy stuff.

It’s milder cause your Tolerance is higher I’d guess.
Maybe because of covid too??? I recently bought the ghost pepper chips and they were way milder than the norm. There was also less powder on them.
