If you really payed attention, collin pretty much tells you how you don't really have a choice... The more you play.. the more your forced to pick a certain outcome. The illusion of freewill.

idontknowwhat toputasmyname not to mention the fact that Stefan himself says that in order to finish the game and make it a success, he had to strip the player’s experience of real choices and give only the illusion of free will. Since this was the most meta ending, I took this to mean not just the game but the episode - he’s telling us to our faces that we weren’t really in control
I was watching it with a friend on saturday evening. We thought we were doing quite well until Stephan kills his father. We were both like: ooooh shit. This is getting dark real fast now! The next day i was still there and we continued. But we were feeling kind of stuck in this stuff. I'm glad I went home on time. This show fucks you up. I might watch it again over a while. Don't know yet. I kind of want the best ending.
You know what part was creepy? When they were both high on acid and Colin's eyes were drooping out of his eye sockets. Did this movie with 10 of my friends and we did majority vote lol
James Beech actually we're all very close, the type you call to bail you out of jail. Just been hanging out in the same group since we were little haha
Is there something wrong ? With what? With anything ? Is that what you are really asking me 'is there something wrong with anything?' No country for old man 😎
First time playing: “Why tf would I kill my dad??” 20th time trying to find all the endings: *nonchalantly presses button to smash ash tray across dads face* “ok now what”
Yeah it was horribly done, the main character was a wimpy greasy chode. . . The LSD part was cringe, couldn't take it seriously. Good movie for the autistic portion of the population.
BoxxyFan In the movie the main character explains that it’s an illusion of having multiple endings, but you won’t ever feel complete until you have the authors true ending, there for making you have to choose a correct path.
It's the only "true" ending I got. After that the credits showed and there was no choice to make, no loop. But I didn't play the episode again after, it was a satisfying ending for me
That was always his true fate.. All the scenarios avoiding him taking the train lead to him having a troubled sad life... He was always meant to die, imo anyway.
When you go with your mom on the train, you aren't trying to change whether she dies or not, because the 8:45 train is the one that crashes in the beginning. You decide to finally have peace and go with your mom, which then actually ends almost all other realities, because you never go into your future self where you learn about the timeline you are in. It's a bittersweet ending to say the least.
@@vGhost01 lmao I know right,, also the little boy sees grown up Stephan in his room after he's put the toy back under his bed and they kinda stare at each other for a second,,,,,, oof
I loved the ending when the boy went with his mother knowing he will die in the mirror world and he died a peaceful death in the real world in front of the therapist without hurting anybody. I welled up and that was the best ending.
Actually Netflix did exist in the 80s. It was a video sharing service where you would pay monthly to have a vcr video of your choice sent to your home, and you could watch and send back the video for another unlimited times throughout the month.
I hope Bandersnatch ahs a huuuuuge success and they actually make another, even bigger, interactive mo0vie. Too bad it can't be in this specific "world". Loved the whole thing with choice/free will/alternate realities.. I wish they could've pushed it further with Colin being in the know and all.
You sort of missed one of the biggest messages here, which is hidden in the white bear logo. The way get bear episode saw a woman be tortured for her crimes over and over, while people just watched it happen. That's what's happening here. We know that we're just ruining Stefans life over and over, but we keep watching it, hoping for a better ending. We could just accept the 2.5/5 and move on, but we don't, we want to be entertained. WE are the villains of the story.
I think that the same symbol from the “White Bear” episode keeps showing up because Stephan is being punished by reliving the same scenarios with no hope of a happy ending and we, the viewers, are collectively and repeatedly torturing him for our own entertainment.
I thought it just symbolizes 1 path diverging into 2 paths, you know, the whole concept of the movie. But your explanation is nice too, it could have a double meaning
"we, the viewers, are collectively and repeatedly torturing him for our own entertainment." Or like Shut Up And Dance. But the thing is we don't "punish" a character who committed a crime priorhands, at the start we don't know who Stefan is, he is presented to us through a series of innocuous choices (which are illusions of choice not only for him but us too as we're tricked into thinking we can control the entire narrative but those choices are also pre-determined by Netflix for us), we indulge ourselves into seeing Stefan escalating and committing a crime. I mean those who chose the option that Stefan chops up his father just to get a different ending for entertainment purpose...I wouldn't want to be their friend IRL.
I liked the bits of Colin or Stefan remembering details after a restart like the whole we've met before thing, or being affected by a previous choice from before a restart like when Colin goes missing after he jumps
one ending you either didn't choose to cover, or missed, if you choose Collin to jump during the drug scene, you will go back inside and see Kitty again. She'll freak out about Collin being dead, than the Lion monster will appear in a jump scare and automatically take you back to a different scene in the past (that I can't remember). This proves what Collin was speaking of, how fate controls life and his suicide wasn't what fate wanted.
I also died multiple times, however my version of _Bandersnatch_ is slightly different to yours. I think I should of chosen "Now 2" but instead I let my dumb 80's nostalgia get the better of me!
Kristie Born I’d Google it there’s a few steps you have to take because of the format it’s in. Explaining it here probably won’t help much, but there have been some uploads of game play already.
@@Mvrimoon I only caught that line as foreshadowing for the dog itself playing a part in one of their deaths LOL. That never happened, so I kinda forgot about it! Thanks for reminding me!
"Why would I want to kill my dad? that's weird" I say to myself, but 3 minutes later I'm chopping his body and his head stares at me as I keep on writing the game. Having the control was all an illusion, sorry dad.
Fabián Lanfold you the player were the controller therefore you chose to kill him by yourself whether or not the main character wanted too you made his biggest decisions, you monster!
The train you go on is not a different train, it is the same train as the mom still misses the original 8:30 train. You get to chose if you want to die with your mom on the train that killed her or stay alive.
This is a really important detail because it shows that Stephan was wrong about what caused his mum to die , he tried to rationalise the death by blaming his dad but this part shows that even if you got the toy back you'd still be late for the train and the mum is gonna die no matter what. The only thing you can change is whether or not you die with her (I chose to go on the train) and therefore you kill off future current Stephan (its a bit confusing I know). It's not really a happy ending since he dies (with the mum too) and then his dad has to see him dead but at least he doesn't go crazy trying to make the game. That how I see it at least.
Fanny Polany I still doubt that charlie brooker intendet to show anything about the topic „fate“. Fate is such a mystical concept and usually the series stays scientifically orientated. I find it weird that this episode had not as clear of a message as other episodes. I still don’t really know what this episode is supposed to show.
Killing his dad for a perfect score in the game feels so wrong and horrible. I prefer to take the medicines and end all peacefully. Even if no one likes the game.
It’s not really peaceful for the grown up Stefan timeline. His dad has to deal with his son strangely dying now. Same with the toddler timeline you chose, the dad has to deal with two deaths
If you listen to what Colin says during the trip scene, "they are living through multi timelines...untill they fulfil the right life, and there is a spirit out there (us...the netflix watcher) making our decisions untill we make the right one... He was supposed to die with his mother. All his timelines after his mother dying are miserable existence for him..,,his mother dying messed him up (all other timelines he sees a psychiatrist). Colin also mentions you can go back and change scenarios ("this is what flashbacks are") Stefan does this...to get the toy back...then finally agreeing to go with his mum. He was always meant to die on that 8:45 train. That is also why he dies in the psychaitrists room when hes older...he finally fullfilled his destiny... Just my opinion btw
@@casualaim I viewed every chain of options we did that had slight variations as alternate realities playing out parallel to one another... they all branched out from the train incident. By him going back to change it He "donnie darko'd" himself ... he killed himself before any could occur, thus he died in all the ones that were previously happening at the same time.
Not future self, but all selves from all timelines. I also viewed this as the "best" ending. It's bittersweet because Stefan is gone, like really gone but we know it's because he escaped the wheel.
thats not what happens, after you pick collin to jump it takes you back to choose a different path, i was confused where collin went “missing” because it doesnt explain it, we know that collin didn’t die because when kitty is looking for him she doesnt know stefan, plus after collin jumps she comes up to stefan, so i wish they explained where he went missing to because it cannot be that he killed himself
@@justarandomguy2078 I see it more of a quarterly thing. Just hand different projects to different writers/studios. Can't wait for a Stranger Things choose your own adventure.
Every ending was horrible. I didn't even realize that these were endings. I did all of them because I thought I was stuck in a loop of "who's controlling me, give me a sign" and there was only one right answer to make the story progress. I kept getting the same stuff and didn't realize that was the end of the movie until I saw the "exit to credits" in the top right corner. I ignored it a couple times because I thought surely that wasn't the end because literally none of the endings were satisfying in any way. It felt like they just cut the movie off midway through. It was so good up until that point?? like wtf
The toy ending is beyond satisfying- it's the hallmark of tragedy, and all you have to do is 1) see the therapist instead of Collins 2) choose the book instead of the photo 3) choose the option "TOY" on the safe
@@sweetalkk I got the toy ending. It was a good scene, but I thought it was more of a nightmare/flashback/alt timeline moment in the middle of the movie rather than an ending. It doesn't really wrap up the story at all considering it doesn't have anything to do with the whole Bandersnatch game timeline, which is most of the movie. Good scene, not satisfying as a conclusion.
@@shay5555 oh but it does- there's a flashback earlier where the only option on the screen is "no". This time it isn't just a glimpse into another timeline- it's Stefan from the Bandersnatch timeline making the decision to be by his mom's side when the train crashes. That's why clicking "yes" is so great- it means he chose to be there knowing what was about to happen. The little boy closes his eyes on the train, and Stefan in the original timeline passes away instead of returning to his timeline. The only better ending I could think of would be if his dad also walked through the mirror into the past and intentionally hid the toy to protect his son, knowing that they would both die on the train if he didn't. And if that knowledge/route somehow led Stefan to get 5/5 without killing anyone
@@sweetalkk I know Stefano from the Bandersnatch time line is there, but it still doesn't wrap up what happens with the game, which is the main plot of the movie.
Did anyone find the scene where Stefan finds that his dad planned the whole “stealing the rabbit”, and gave him drugs then blindfolded him ? I can’t come back to that scene, _and_ where it seems like his room isn’t actually his room, but something out of a movie production. I didn’t understand that part.
I can't believe that I'm the only one who thought that Stefan and Dr. Haynes were gonna SMASH instead of going into a kung fu fight :o I was not expecting that at all! lmao

The ‘inaudible’ music on the tape at the end is actually a much bigger secret. If you run the clip on an emulator you get a QR code on your screen, scanning this will take you to a website, the website of the game company who hires Stephan. There’s many Easter eggs on this page but one link on the page takes you to a download link for the game bandersnatch, where you can actually play the real game
Tara E. omg and when u press the metal head tab on top, and u scroll all the way down there’s an ad that says “rate a friend” which is exactly like the rating app from the nosedive episode!!!

Also if I’m not mistaken he says that in th TOY ending Stefan and his mom didn’t miss the train and yet the train still crashed, but the truth is that even though he found the bunny they still decided to skip the 8:30 train and go on the 8:45 train
I hope they don’t make all their movies like this and maybe convert a game into the movie if you win or lose is the alternative to yes or no so if you win (pac man) you become a professional gamer but if you lose your life changes or it could be many more options but I didn’t like this as it kinda took too long😂
not necessarily, people choose to watch movies to lay back and relax. Having to make decisions within a 10 second time frame wont appeal to most viewers.
semi yeah when I clicked on it I was surprised and half way though 8 didn’t like it as it was too long and repetitive but when you finish it you fall in love with the movie and the creativity
I want more like this as well but I have a feeling this is a one-time thing since the whole theme of the movie is 'someone is controlling the main character'. But I could also see other movies like this such as an escape room type movie
@@FalloutUGC I think that was kinda the objective that the creators wanted with this show, like us being the viewers find enjoyment in Stefans personal torture

I got the ending where Stefan died at his therapy session. “He just closed his eyes for a few moments....”-therapist My ending, Stefan found the toy and it gave me the choice “go with mom? Don’t go?” I chose to go with her so Stefan can die with his mother and that he won’t suffer anymore. He died, it was a bitter sweet ending.
I think you made a mistake. When small Stefan found his toy rabbit, his Mom said that they would miss the 8:30. The 8:45 was the only train that went off the rails. Still really good video, I love it a lot! P.S. Thanks for the likes everyone!
^ this. They got on the same train. The true significance of that ending is accepting to die with the mother on that train to not live a life of regret he can't cope with.
Yep, she says they're taking the later train anyway and it adds a ton of weight to the decision to follow her anyway and choose to die with her instead of living on.
@@TheGaarth Yup, this also points out that it wasn't his fault she died. I was really hoping selecting no here would lead to an actual good ending, where he realized this, and was able to finish his game without constantly struggling so hard against his personal demons. My biggest complaint is that there IS NO 'good' ending here. The protagonist either dies, his game sucks, or he gets sent to jail. My other complaint is that Colin wasn't explained in more depth. Why is he so absurdly aware, when the rest of the world is so complaisant? Why is our own protagonist so aware, for that matter? Why was PACS invented, and what were it's results? Going into these kind of things could have made this 'adventure' far more interesting. It felt more like we got surface details of several universes, and didn't ever get to the meat of any of them. So I enjoyed Bandersnatch A LOT, but it admittedly left me wanting in the worst ways.
@@Fox-in-the-Storm I feel like your questions are answered pretty simply. Colin isn't aware, he's just "woke AF" because he does psycedelics on a regular basis. Our protagonist also isn't aware, and PACS isn't real- he's very clearly mentally ill.
@@Sausagehandlebars For me it was frustrating and boring, because all of the choices I was given were either trivial or illogicall. I couldn't predict any consequences so I just gave up and i let the movie play by itself over and over again. Ironically Stefan still claimed somebody was controlling him even though I put the remote away.
I’m so sad that my friends didn’t appreciate bandersnatch. I just love everything about it. The acting is incredible. The attention to details with the props, the deeper meaning behind every idea and every action. The whole concept is just breathtaking. I cannot wait to see what black mirror comes up with next.
The poor dad. I killed him, I buried him, I chopped him to bits, I kicked him in the nuts, I yelled at him. That poor bastard LOL!!! I also made Colin kill himself like a bad trip but at least I let him go when he busted me in the middle of burying the dad. Off to the psych ward I go......... HAHA!!
Resurrect The Night the mom would’ve died either way cuz of the ending where he(Stephan) instantly finds the rabbit(I think). Everything else is correct tho
I interpreted the ending of when stefan chose to go out the window as stefan stepping into another reality/parallel universe. When the cast member ask if stefan was okay, he was genuinely confused because that wasn’t his reality and it was a different version of himself in a different time.
It is interestingly meta that they broke the fourth wall in that scene and the universe is apparently our's where he is actually an actor in a Black Mirror episode where there's literally a director telling him what to do.
@陳 No, that's pretty much the premise of the Butterfly Effect movie as well. The main character experiences blackout periods all throughout his life at key events from childhood and is able to jump back to those alternate realities. In that movie, his entire body literally gets rearranged each jump to match the current reality and timeline.
I managed to get all endings in one sitting without help of the internet, absolutely disassociated during the process Totally didn't go crazy or anything.
Searched way too long for this comment. But then again the prime Minister propably would have done it for his daughter too I guess, like he did it for the princess because everybody expected it from him and he basically had no choice but I still think he would've done it for his daughter. Although then again a national TV Sender wouldn't have broadcasted the act for a simple daughter of a prime minister. God I love black mirror.
In the beginning when you meet Colin, it’s ordinary. But after you “go back” once having the choice of you or Colin jumping he says “we’ve met before”. And however many times you’ve done that jumping choice is the same amount he says it.
Mr BootSquid: It seems Colin is aware of this. The first wrong choice I made was accepting the offer right away and Colin pats Stefan‘s shoulder and says: „Wrong path, my friend!“ and when you start again „We‘ve met before“.
When the first couple 'choice' prompts came up, I just sat there thinking it's part of the movie, like wtf is the loading bar taking so long in these. My mind was eventually blown lol
bro did you not get the intro that tells you that it's interactive ? when i opened it for the first time it explained how the options worked and how you inform the story.
i could tell even beofre i noticed the name in the lower third. if a cxharacter says something in a movie its usualy there for a reason. as soon as he held up his baby abnd said her name... it was clear she was going to be in it later. they wouldnt just setup a baby and name it to do nothing with it.
@@droppedmypistachios In Computer Science, a bit (binary digit)is either represented as 0 or 1. These bits are most commonly represented as 8 bits grouped together. Chopping the dad into 8-bits has two means since he chopped up his dad into "8 bits" and since Stefan was a programmer, "8 bits".
I thought it was because he figured out the "code/matrix" or his reality and realised forks in the road (choices/time) don't matter... if he knew every conceivable choice he could choose to "reset" himself wherever in those alternate realities? Even if one story ended, it didn't matter. Idk I just finished it im still confused
@@jaycarter1241 Like if you were to play Bandersnatch several times and eventually know the outcomes along each path through trial and error, the "you" from the alternate timeline can gain that knowledge if they see through the code of their reality?
There's only one real ending, all the other endings they give more choices at the end to go back and loop, there was a point where stephen says "i choose the ending" and all of that illusion of freewill stuff, which is what those endings with other choices are, the real ending is where you go back and take the bunny from the dad, stephen goes on the bus with his mom and they are late anyways, they both go on the bus and they both die, there is no more choices to go back after that, just credits.
Yeah, that's a point that was bugging me too. When you say yes to go on the train, you're supposed to know very well that you would be on the train that crashes. It adds a whole new dimension to the choice.
In your diagram it missed a part i ran into. Where if you had put "PAC" into the password. When you then get prompted as to who is communicating on the computer it will say "P.A.C.S" instead of Netflix. This then causes Stefan to kill his dad automatically instead of the prompt to "kill dad" or "back off"
Marek Billington yup I had that That moment when he got angry and held the ashtray I was like shit they ain’t gonna let me choose are they , he already made up his mind 😂💔
originally i was evil because i couldn't resist then i realized you can't do anything good i mean i for the first time i was given the choice killed his dad and chopped him up.
you got the part about the bunny wrong, even when he put the bunny under the bed, they were still late and had to catch the 8;45 thus ending both of their lives
By killing himself he got out of our control. That is the only ending where we are forced to watch the end credits and not go back. That's the happy ending for him.
@@metachirality actually, after reading many people's experiences with the episode, I think the game is just programmed to keep going until you see all of the major plot points and endings.
@陳 I did follow Colin and I got the option of Netflix as well. I explained to him and he went to his doctor but later on I entered on a loop where he asked me again who I was, and Netflix was not an option anymore.
For "Every Ending Explained" you missed a biggie. The Bandersnatch demo cassette isn't unintelligible noises, it's Spectrum (the console that Bandersnatch is developed for) code which can be recorded and loaded into a Spectrum emulator as a playable program. It gives you a QR link containing a white bear glyph, which takes you to Tuckersoft's website. The games list on their "history" page seems to be related to the endings you've seen, like if you got the ending where Bandersnatch never got released, the Bandersnatch icon on their history page shows "cancelled" but it's not confirmed to be actually related to the viewer's personal choice history, it could be random because many people have seen several endings.
+ bonus easter egg, Stefan's therapist is based at Saint Juniper Hospital and is called R Haynes, but as well as the San Junipero reference, Saint Juniper's is also the hospital that Rolo Haynes worked at when he met the pain-addicted doctor in Black Museum. That Saint Juniper's was in America I think, so it's just a reference and not the same hospital.
Yeah I believe the site is based on the endings you've got. However, of yoy just keep clicking the history link to refresh the page, it cycles through the different versions.
Also in the rewinds the characters say different things like when you are introduced to the hotshot programmer he says things like "Have I seen you before" or "I told you I would see you again" meaning that he was right when you chose for him to jump he said don't worry I can't kill myself, "I'll see you again." This movie is way deeper that just the endings. Same where if you chose not to kill him he says something like thanks I quite like story version of my life" something like that. Again, the Programmer is the key to this story line. He is the one that figured out that he lives in a multi universe where "every decision and scenario exist in another dimension. Also, the movie ending where he was in a studio. Remember that one? Well the hot shot programer (forgot his name) during the "trip out" said an agency pays people to be your relative. I understood that that as;;;; in the "Studio" ending the people were paid to "Pretend" to be his relatives. The "Hot shot" programmer basically said in another dimension your "life" is a NETFLIX series and you are an actor and others actors are payed to pretend to be your relatives. Sorry if this confuses you it is quite hard summing up this movie
That's what I thought too! Colin talks about the game pacman and how it's a similar nightmare they're living in. I started to see that this is exactly what Stefan's life was. Every time he woke up, he was in a new reality trapped in the same "game." Hard to explain, but I think the hot-shot programmer was correct with his conspiracy theories, and your theory resonates the most with me. There's the multiple endings, but there is also a bigger picture with the notions of time-loops and multi-verses.
armike234 for sure!! I did the same scenario of killing dad and burying him. They all ended the same with him sitting in jail but the details kept changing and it was really interesting to watch.

When you go with your mom on the train, you aren't trying to change whether she dies or not, because the 8:45 train is the one that crashes in the beginning.
There’s a theory that Bandersnatch is Stefan’s punishment, and we are a patron.
Mind blown
"we, the viewers, are collectively and repeatedly torturing him for our own entertainment."
Or like Shut Up And Dance.
I mean those who chose the option that Stefan chops up his father just to get a different ending for entertainment purpose...I wouldn't want to be their friend IRL.

it makes us think that we can't change the fate even if we found the toy immediately.

Killing his dad for a perfect score in the game feels so wrong and horrible. I prefer to take the medicines and end all peacefully. Even if no one likes the game.
Same, plus that song was perfect.
Honestly it's the best one imo.
It’s not really peaceful for the grown up Stefan timeline. His dad has to deal with his son strangely dying now. Same with the toddler timeline you chose, the dad has to deal with two deaths
I got this ending too and then did the ‘replay’ at the end to see the other options. I felt pretty pleased I picked my favourite ending first time!
Colin also mentions you can go back and change scenarios ("this is what flashbacks are")
Stefan does this...to get the toy back...then finally agreeing to go with his mum.
@@casualaim if he died as a kid, ie in the past, then his future self would cease to exist so he died in the future.

The Mystical Fox Black Mirror rarely has “good” endings
Just when you think it cant get more meta they pull up the damn studio...
StillNope jaw on floor.... he needs a medic hahaha
StillNope wait was the studio a set too- fuck
I stayed there playing for an hour thinking there might be a GOOOD ending where he doesn’t kill the dad, goes to jail,or kill him self

I’m so sad that my friends didn’t appreciate bandersnatch. I just love everything about it. The acting is incredible. The attention to details with the props, the deeper meaning behind every idea and every action. The whole concept is just breathtaking. I cannot wait to see what black mirror comes up with next.
You need new friends!
The Colin guy is a really bad actor, though
@@RNCHFNDI hated the whole show. Waste of my time.
HAHA!!
Kicked in the nuts doesn't hurt.
Lemon Zazz are you stupid?
Resurrect The Night the mom would’ve died either way cuz of the ending where he(Stephan) instantly finds the rabbit(I think). Everything else is correct tho
@FrutieDrawerr 23 excuse me, what the Fuck?
I interpreted the ending of when stefan chose to go out the window as stefan stepping into another reality/parallel universe. When the cast member ask if stefan was okay, he was genuinely confused because that wasn’t his reality and it was a different version of himself in a different time.
Same exact thoughts
Saaaame
Thank you. I was trying to wrap my mind around that ending and how it could've possibly be tied into everything else we've witnessed
The Netflix bit where there’s the writing on the screen is SO FUNNY.
Why would you leave the bandersnatch demon on the screen for that long? 😭 🤣
I skipped it. I didn’t give a fuck what he was saying. I got traumatized by the acid trip

The prime minister had to save a princess, not his daughter.
It's something about that episode.
If time travel is real then free will is not real.
Why did his wife give him the cold shoulder in the end?
Was just about to comment this, absolutely great episode. People thought it was disgusting but that is what was great about it
In the beginning when you meet Colin, it’s ordinary.
I noticed that Colin’s speech changed, but what do you mean by the number of times?
Bro I thought I was just watching a regular ass movie then I was able to choose what I wanted I was like wth going on

Colins monologue made me so uncomfortable I chose for him to jump and it was terrifying

I said chopped up hid dad. But I didn’t know the kitty’s daughter was her.
i could tell even beofre i noticed the name in the lower third. if a cxharacter says something in a movie its usualy there for a reason. as soon as he held up his baby abnd said her name... it was clear she was going to be in it later. they wouldnt just setup a baby and name it to do nothing with it.
I didn't put it together until I went back to follow Colin, once he said her name I was like... Oh... that makes sense now.

9:03 "Programmer's Dad found in 8-bits" I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE YOU SLY BASTARDS
Sam Enrique what does that mean lol
@@droppedmypistachios In Computer Science, a bit (binary digit)is either represented as 0 or 1. These bits are most commonly represented as 8 bits grouped together. Chopping the dad into 8-bits has two means since he chopped up his dad into "8 bits" and since Stefan was a programmer, "8 bits".
Lol
Haris K ohhh ok , im kinda still confused 💀 but thankss
Lu Lu think like the nes, old school mario and Zelda. Those are “8-bit” games.
So glad I didn't get any of the jump scares. Except the demon in Colin's apartment which was a bit of a fright
ItzAvox right? Like it wasn’t super scary but the eyes themselves won’t leave my head....
Honestly same, I usually don’t get scared by supernatural creatures but that thing unsettled me lol
So basically i failed this movie like 10 times and got every ending??
Trevor Costelloe isn’t that the point?
I thought it was because he figured out the "code/matrix" or his reality and realised forks in the road (choices/time) don't matter... if he knew every conceivable choice he could choose to "reset" himself wherever in those alternate realities? Even if one story ended, it didn't matter. Idk I just finished it im still confused
That is the illusion of free choice
I think that was the point of it regardless
When I did that ending multiple times sometimes it gave me the option to go back to the safe and sometimes it would play the credits on the little tv
It also played the credits, when Stefan killed his dad and maybe another person (Colin, etc.) and he landed in prison
Well I hit no so the mom only died lol
"There's only one real ending" - That is your opinion mate, clearly it has more.
Also it was a train not a bus
@@jesper164areally...no I'm pretty sure it was an airplane
They actually missed the 8:30 train anyways and went on the one that crashed
Yeah, that's a point that was bugging me too. When you say yes to go on the train, you're supposed to know very well that you would be on the train that crashes. It adds a whole new dimension to the choice.
phlipper007 yeah I forgot about the time
@@Dumpee Can't think of everything allll the time hahah :)
In your diagram it missed a part i ran into. Where if you had put "PAC" into the password. When you then get prompted as to who is communicating on the computer it will say "P.A.C.S" instead of Netflix. This then causes Stefan to kill his dad automatically instead of the prompt to "kill dad" or "back off"
Marek Billington yup I had that
That moment when he got angry and held the ashtray I was like shit they ain’t gonna let me choose are they , he already made up his mind 😂💔
Damn. So there isn’t an ending where he doesn’t kill anyone, his game gets released and gets great reviews, and everyone’s happy?

you got the part about the bunny wrong, even when he put the bunny under the bed, they were still late and had to catch the 8;45 thus ending both of their lives

By killing himself he got out of our control. That is the only ending where we are forced to watch the end credits and not go back. That's the happy ending for him.
No he didn't. He said they were on time, but the train derails any way. He got the detail ever so slightly wrong.

@J U N O thank you ❤
For "Every Ending Explained" you missed a biggie.
Am I the only one who got a dial tone at the end instead of the Spectrum?
@@krossbow_ Possibly! I haven't heard anyone else mention it yet. Was it the Bandersnatch demo tape, but played a plain dial tone?
Auracle i cant remember what it said on the tape, maybe just Stefan? But it just sounded like when you dial a number that doesnt exist
