Cetrotide regulates the functioning of the pituitary gland. This gland is responsible for the production of hormones that stimulate the growth of an egg, its development and release once its mature.
Cetrotide is administered through injections, it is usually injected below the skin of the lower abdomen

While preparing for fertility treatment and while on treatment, is it a bad idea to go for chemical peels and microneedling procedures ? Do they have a bad effect on the results ?

Great question. We encourage our patients to keep to their normal routines. We understand how infertility can cause some patients to want to control and manage every aspect of their lives (diet, physical activities, supplements, etc) whilst undergoing treatment, as their own control over reproduction has been taken away. If the procedures mentioned above come with potential risks, then I would discuss those with your Infertility Doctor to see if they believe any of those risk factors may impact the type of treatment you are following.
