Hello, this is so helpful. I feel that sometimes insecure men and women are overly kind. And that combination is very overwhelming and it can be exhausting to navigate in a relationship. It can make you feel unsafe. I know that was me and I have been working on not being so insecure. I will always be nice but in a kinder way. Thank you!
The best advice for a man is to understand that everything is temporary and plan accordingly. When, not if, things fall apart, you won't be surprised or unprepared. Also, by the time you (as a man) think that there might be something wrong with your relationship, it's already over and it's been over for a while. Eject and save yourself the time and aggravation.
Manson is awesome? Why? Because you said so? Glover over talks and takes over? Says who? You? He’s trying not to do that? How do you know? Did you discuss it with him before the conversation? Were you in the room with him? Were you in his head? Mixed results, huh? According to whose scale? Yours? It’s a good thing you stopped by to share your opinion as though it’s fact. Wouldn’t know what to make of this video otherwise.
@@thecordialist Listen, clown, I have watched Glover take over many of his other interviews as if his guests were invisible. Watch the one he did with Orion for an example. Now, you can crawl back into the hole you popped your head out of. If you don't like my opinions, I can bend over so you can kiss my _ss, understood? Great. Now, have a blessed day.
The 2 authors of the best books for men are finally here. Thanks both of you. Finally the best podcast ever. 3 books I have read 1. No more mr nice guy 2. Models 3. Naked Guys do check the book naked by David wygnat it was recommended by Mark in his book models. That book was even better.
People in romantic relationship bond by doing staff together as well. Vasopressin is released that way and men need it more than women, apparently. I’ve noticed that in my marriage - solving things together helps. As long as it doesn’t lead to arguments. 😂

a lot of people said they were waiting for the podcast of Joe rogan and Donald trump. F*** that, this is the podcast I was waiting for and that we all need
In a different video you mentioned how you got good at making videos. I am not sure if you realize but the video quality is super low. Maybe it looks fine on a phone but it’s super pixelated on a big flat screen tv. I hope you can upload better quality videos in the future.
Models absolutely sucked. It's like one piece of a large puzzle that doesn't work by itself. Like Mark Manson himself said in this interview, he learned pick up and did the emotional work on himself before he could ever "just be vulnerable" like he describes in Models. That will *never* work for the average guy in an everyday situation.
@@aleksamrkela831 You just made my point. He learned pickup, so he knew pickup techniques and the pickup mindset. That makes a huge difference in your behavior towards women, and none of this is covered in Models.
@@Kit-kk9cb Evidently, you haven't read the book carefully enough. Manson points out a few times (although not as specifically as I put here) that all pickup is about is putting on a show, being invasive, trying to impress an obviously unavailable woman and manipulate her into liking you, which are all provedly bad dating strategies. And at a few points he openly states that pickup promotes objectification and pedestalization of women, which is the problem with Nice Guy syndrome as well. His point was that men don't need pickup to be good daters. And he's right.
@@aleksamrkela831 It's true that pick up objectifies women and is not a great thing to do overall. But the theory and especially the practice also gives you knowledge of female psychology that doesn't just vanish when you stop using pick up techniques. Thus, while Manson dumps on pick up, a good deal of what he knows about women (and especially his confidence in interacting with women) is derived from his experience with pick up and has become such an intrinsic part of himself that he doesn't even realize it anymore. Which is an issue for everybody who reads and applies Models _without_ having the practice with women that Manson had from pick up. So while the stuff in Models drew the parallel for Manson _as a person_ from pick up towards a healthy interaction with women, what really happened was that he got a missing puzzle piece that completed _his personal picture._ If you give Models to a newbie, he misses the entire puzzle piece that Manson got from his experience with pick up. Plus, in many (or possibly most) of his field examples, he was travelling the world and thus meeting girls who were generally more open for one time things. If you talk about your experiences travelling the world with some bored girls, they're more likely to engage with you than if you talked to the girl next door at home.
@@aleksamrkela831 Doesn't really matter for my point. He still got a lot of his experience of understanding and interacting with females from his experiences with pick up. Models is just the vulnerability bit that is admittedly missing in pick up. But Models alone won't be enough for a newcomer, because he still lacks the basic experience Manson made by practicing pick up.

The authors of the only two dating books I've read that have made sense to me, together in a video. This can't get any better!

Most people don't handle it well
Dr. Glover is the absolute best when it comes to any kind of manhood relationship dating leadership advice 🐐
Manson is awesome. Glover is bright but always over talks and takes over. Here he is trying his best not to do that with mixed results

You want couples to do staff together? Like supermarket staff? Like as a swinger type relationship?
First dating book I ever read was Manson’s Models. I remember he quoted Dr. Glover and that’s what lead me to NMMNG.

Platitude. He learned pickup only to find that it was a waste of time, and it pointed him in the direction where he really needed to go.
