Any typical kid or to that matter, any toddler feels like doing us a favour by eating or drinking food. But look, Emilia is not any other ordinary baby. She's a well behaved, well mannered Todd yet with all the capabilities of any other normal kid. Good for the parents & big sister Izzy. Sad though as she's growing very fast but she's retained her cheeks. 😂😂😂

My daughter was the same. I had heard horror stories from my friends about fussy kids. But my daughter by God's grace never gave me any trouble. I was breastfeeding her but by the beginning of the fifth month she needed solids. She used to cry incessantly which was unusual for her. She was a quiet child. The pediatrician said she needed solid foods.
I didn't use any of the supermarket off the shelf baby food. I had taken some 2 or 3 lentils and rice and dry roasted them to golden. Then I made a coarse powder of it. I would boil this mixture in a pressure cooker and give the resulting mash to her.

I used to peel and core an apple and grate it. Then shallow fry it in ghee with a pinch of cinnamon powder and after it had softened add sugar to it. I would give this with milk to my daughter.
