@@MommaEtsuko I rent a space in an antique mall. I can't speak for all antique shops, but I was told to price items at or below what they sell for on eBay. So they may seem pricey, but a lot of research has been put into each item (usually). If you want a better price, then look out for mall wide sales. Or if you are lucky enough to run into a dealer while they are in their booth you can sometimes negotiate a better price. We like it when inventory moves so we can hunt for more items. We also like to see our items find good homes.
Hello Erin! The antique "miniature butter churns" are biscuit presses. They used them for making pretty biscuits or breads for Easter, Christmas, special occasions. Also could use them to stamp cookies. Lovely video! My aunt works estate sales so I've seen lots of cool antiques over the years. Take care sweetie!!
Antique shops Erin visits: the hat of Michael Jackson, the suit of the first American president, a stone from outer space that has been ingraved by aliens, all the precious goods that humankind has ever saved Antique shops I visit: a toenail, used shampoo, a doll without a head and socks with holes in them Maybe even James's career
Can you please do one of those nature videos, but a day where it is dark and gloomy? I know it’s a weird request but I feel like you could capture the beauty of it
My favorite antique store has three stories, and is built into an old Coca Cola bottling warehouse in Indy. I get lost in it for hours, and I can never leave without my wallet feeling slightly lighter. :)
if you find a lantern design that you like but you'd like to age it up, Modern Masters and a few other brands sell paint with iron filings mixed in that will rust when you use the accelerator spray it comes with. Adam Savage's Tested did a great video on it a little while back
I never wanted this to end! So tingly and beautiful to watch. I love antique shopping. Please do more videos like this or hauls of your antique purchases!
Your up-close whisper is soooooooooooooo relaxing! Beautiful collection of tumbled stones--I loved the tiger eye! And, oh, that writing desk! My mother had a collection of copper kitchen items. She kept them polished bright, displayed on a kitchen wall.
Last time I went to an antique shop I browsed through the postcards too...endless postcards, all sorted by countries. Some of them even have handwritten messages. Haunting but interesting feeling
It's been a long time since I finished school and the best advice I can give anyone still working hard in school is give it your best effort. It's a very temporary thing that can open doors. I know in the moment it feels boring, time consuming and a lot of other negative things. Before you know it, you'll be done in school. Take the time and do what you can. But please know that it is NOT the end all and be all of your life after school. It just prepares you for what's ahead. Apologies for the rant, but I know excactly how I felt in that precise situation and I have some regrets above how I handled it.
I love when you add subtle background sounds, like of rustling, footsteps or chattering. It gives us the impression that we are actually there, I love it. Great video as always!💞💓
I love little antiques and trinkets! They are so nifty to look at. Some people love antiques because they can give a feeling of nostalgia, I love sifting through them because they look fascinating and can inspire story ideas. It's a "I don't need it in my life but I really want it" kind of thing
Oooo love antique shopping! As soon as you walked in I saw white goblet on the top shelf I would have bought. I used to have one just like that. Very relaxing trip. Wishing you a beautiful week. See you again soon.
If they let you in without other customers around, maybe it's time for another character from our favorite village? "Mrs. Beauford's Relics and Antiquities" :-)
I didn't think it was possible to go from being so excited about the notification to so relaxed by the end of the video. Your voice is perfect here. ☺️
I love that you do this as an occasional hobby and to help others and not make typical videos that would rack in more views. One of the most underrated ASMR channels.
You posted this on my little sister’s 21st birthday, so it’s fitting that it’s a video of things that match how I feel...like an antique. I’m only 26 but dang, the way time changes everything!
Hey Erin, i was thinking on it, and this is less of an asmr suggestion but i still wanted to mention it. In some of your videos where you go on a trip, I've fallen in love with a lot of the music, to name a few, songs like lavender blood, honey waits, la lune rouse, and so on. So i was wondering if you could make a video with song suggestions, or maybe even just mention some in a description here and there. Just something i thought of that i think would be amazing.
I've been suffering from OCD for about 3 years now but ASMR has been an awesome discovery for me, especially your videos in particular. I have horrible intrusive thoughts for the majority of the day but your videos have helped diminish their voices and control over me. Thank you for being you, Erin.
That pear design postcard was beautiful! Someone's already mentioned that the wooden moulds were used for bread/biscuits, but they were also used to mould and stamp butter, so you weren't far off!
What an absolutely wonderful shop and video! Thanks for letting us have a peak. Super relaxing. I just love antique shops like that. I probably would have gone home with that "old old" cup. :)
This is probably every weird but I wanted to say it anyway. I just started my summer and I always feel a certain way when I watch these videos in the summertime. It’s coming up on two years since I stumbled upon this channel (the first video I saw was the mermaid one) and I am so grateful for everything Erin does. She has helped me fall asleep much better for the past two years an I can’t thank her enough !! :)
I've always wanted to visit an antique shop ever since I've started watching your videos and starting to appreciate the old treasures one can find from the old days. Sadly as far as I know I didn't come across any in Europe so this video allowed me to "visit" one while being extremly relaxed. Awsome work! :)
I'm not particularly interested in antiques but your voice is so ridiculously relaxing and mesmerising i couldn't stop listening 😍 thank you so much for all the work you put into your videos, i'm thankful for each one!!
You would love it in France. There are antique shops all over the place and every Sunday throughout spring and summer they have brocants, which are like car boot sales only over half the stuff is cheap antiques. There's so much of it that it usually works out cheaper to furnish an apartment with quasi-antiques than new stuff.
My sister and I go every weekend to the local antique shops .. we always look at things and talk about what people's homes looked like .. what they cooked in the casserole dishes .. wishing we could go back to a "not so simple" time.. I loved this video .. thank you !!
Im so happy you made this video...I love antique things as well...and I just love how your videos feature so many antique props and things...and plus asmr + antique = perfection I love your videos , please do more of these types of videos , they are amazing 🖤👏🏻

I'm rambling but what I really mean to say is that I live vicariously through you and it has been such a pleasure! Thank you and I can only hope to see more of these! All the love, xx
I thought the wooden stamps were maybe for putting designs on pastry, but after some investigation, they seem to be butter moulds! I love antique shops
On if my favorite things about antique store is the absolute insane variety of things. When you showed the old lanterns and then panned to the side and it just showed a miller lite clock is my favorite 😂
I love your videos where you just share your love of things and places with us. Always reminds me that there is still plenty of good in this crazy world.
The items you thought were butter churners (but then thought maybe they were for stamping on paper) are actually butter *molds* - so you were very close! Once you have churned your butter from cream you put it into the molds, and press it into that shape. They push out so you can push the molded butter out easily! :)

I've listened to it so many times I've practically memorized the order in which you share all the different antiques you find! LOL! XD I would love it if you made another video like this where you maybe went to another antique store and showed us some more cool stuff that you find. Maybe an idea for a future video could be that you role play and run your own little antique shop and try to sell us something. :)
Your whispers are some of the best in the community! I would love to see a mic brushing/scratching video from you with some whispering. It would put me to sleep for sure 😍
Those are actually butter molds. Once the butter was churned folks would pack those full and it would leave the fact flower design on ok of the butter!
