This doesn’t mean I think the best complement is itself a great ink, just that it is a nice complement color. I am not running giveaways and I will not ask you for money. Watch out for scammers and spammers, and who want to steal your money and personal information.
This is a great review, as we should expect from this channel! There is so much attention given to 'fun' inks that sheen and shimmer (and even some that are perfumed or glow in the dark!) that we tend to forget how much beautiful a straight ink can be, especially when it is quite saturated. I may add that as this channel is 100% on ink, we are spared the unavoidable speed test and reverse nib writing test. I still have to find an occasion where I could not write with a fountain pen as fast as I wanted (and I should admit having some rather cheap Chinese pens) and never felt the need or the interest to writing reverse.
On the "speed test" that Waski does, I kind of like it, it really does show how well an ink keeps up the flow for fast writing and for drawing. But, we all come at how to do reviews in very different ways. Reverse writing... to me is a dnagerous way to treat the nib but I could be wring. Afterall some pens are made to be able to do that so I might expect that all nibs are capable. I don't do it because I'm not comfortable doing that with my nibs. BUT, I am glad that the reviews are enjoyed. Thank you.
While not generally a color family for me, I do continue to review them because so many people like them... I try to be really fair about it, plus I sometimes find some that even I like. lol
Here are the direct links to Noodler's Eel Cactus Fruit Eel, an ink that I think is a great complement: ua-cam.com/video/SeJwTPSiB14/v-deo.html
