Keep these videos coming. I really enjoy seeing the Manticore in use. I've had mine since early December also. the iron falsing has been a bit troubling. I feel like I'm starting to get a feel for the iron though. I still dig some, but I usually have a good idea what it is. I have done well with it on coins. Going out to NH, and Philly in April for some older stuff .
Its obvious the manticore is a great, fast, deep machine and will find a lot of good stuff. The iron falsing turned me right off though. My equinox 800 does the exact same thing. I ordered the deus 2 and itll be delivered today. I like the idea of being fully confident in what my machine is telling me, and never had that with the equinox, and I think I would feel the same with the manticore. Hopfully I didn't screw up ordering the deus 2
How long have you had the Manticore now? You seem to be dialed in pretty good with it. I've just had mine a couple days now, and I'm just starting to get use to it.
@Jimzilla so far so good. Got out for three shorts hunts and got silver each time. Last one was a 1912 Fishscale. (Canadian 5 cent pc like a half dime)
Hello Jim. Are you noticing you're popping a lot of on edge coins with the MC? It's becoming normal for me lately and it is hammering said coins 360° unlike the normal one way.

Thank you…I agree I’m digging less iron because I’m getting more used to the detector BUT there is no doubt the Core loves square nails.
Thanks .

I had the Manticore since late November. I use it a lot about 3-4 times a week when possible. How do you like it so far

How can turning 90 degree help when you have iron in the same hole? Better off digging all solid tones..
