skoda fabia how to change heater core

Hello, couple of questions... 1. Does it matter which way round the heater matrix lies? 2. Do the rubber seals go in the heater matrix. Put new heater matrix in skoda 1.6 and its leaking where the pipes go into the heat shield.

Yes it does matter how the heater core is installed and the rubber seals are installed on plastic connector if it's not broken when removal

Let the car work for a while and check all the hoses if they are hot
