I should not be watching videos at this hour ... but I'm glad I did. That looks like some good fun and an easy set up too. Definitely will try that activity!🎉

Merry Christmas happy new year in advance. Thank you for your wonderful educational channel mrs Shirley. We appreciate your great efforts to give us creative ideas for teaching kids . First of all I looked up for meaning of sensory bin it’s containers filled with materials that excited child senses . They can be filled with dry food ( pasta, rice , etc ) , shredded paper even water . They promote learning through hands on play opportunities. Playing with sensory toys help to reduce stress level , improve self awareness, refine gross and fine motor skills, learn cause and effect , improve communication skills and develop social skills , increase self confidence. Gross motor skills means it’s involves large muscles in arms , legs and torso, for example basic motor skills sitting, standing, walking , running , jumping and dancing too all are gross motor skills .

There are several activities for fine motor skills such as water play , gardening, planting, closing jackets , painting with balls , finger plays , threading it’s can take time to master as make macaroni necklace or bracelet with cereals or sweet shape like loops , thread beads on to string . Lacing shoelaces is advanced skill and lacing cards . Paper tearing, paper folding, puzzles, self care tasks, closing zips , butting clothes, blocks sale wooden blocks , building blocks , construction play LEGO or cutting and pasting, playing with loose part , wood work as toy hammer, cooking activities as squeezing, mixing and more , cards and games all are great activities for development of kids motor skills and using their brains too . I hope I can learn a lot from your knowledge . Best wishes for you your family friends. Happy holiday .
