Hey this has had over a thousand views in under 24hours, that's a first for me. The response has been amazing. I have been blown away by all the comments I am really glad you lot liked it and a big thanks to all the new subs :) thanks a lot people o/
why you subject yourself to the game's horrible building mechanics to create these amazing works of art baffles me dude. but still, it's damn amazing. as much as it pains me to say, keep up the great work. I would to see something like this in like a series of some kind, like with its own story. I could totally see that.
Hey Thanks, it's been a long road, I started winning the Community Crunch ARKitect competition on the official forums and got totally hooked on the building. I met a lot of cool people in the building community and this is the only game I have found that's capable of supporting builds like this :) Making a series based on one of the Nomadic bases would be cool :) I think a comic would do well tbh
To be honest I've always wanted to do an original series based around ark. I think it would be really cool to make use of some of the primitive plus buildings and some of the custom maps, like "the center". Like maybe one of those "i've been trapped in this game and have to get out" kind of stories. Or just a character living in the world and create a story around that. Part of the reason I haven't attempted one yet is my computer can't handle ark's graphics to the highest degree yet, which will be changing in about a month or so. But ever since I saw someone with a mobile bronto trading base on the official servers, way back before the titanosaur. I've always wanted to do something similar.
That sounds like a great idea there are hundreds of series that you could draw inspiration from the first one that springs to mind is Star Trek :) or Star Trek Voyager you have a ship/ mobile base and a crew and all the situations they encounter. It would be really good, there is a youtuber called Missyprime who created a War of the Worlds movie, it took a huge amount of building and production and there were a lot of extras in it all done on Ark with the original radio broadcast as the narrator, was amazing work. If you get a chance you should look and maybe have a chat see what it involved.
@@ThePilgrimzProject Yeah there is so much you can do with them, when I get back to playing on maps with Titans I'm going to have to set them to feedable so I can make them into a living main base. Thanks for all the great ideas with platform building!
I really wish someone would show one of these things moving. I mean, I know it's easier to show things off when their standing still but come on. It's a mobile base! I want to see it walking around. That aside, these are absolutely amazing please make more :)
This is awesome mate. I have to applaud that you built this in Ark, especially considering how hard and limited the Ark building mechnics are. It has a very anthropomorphic look. I can envision primitive humans aspiring to build something like this if they had gotten to live simultaneously to sauropods.
Thanks man glad you like it :) I think if Sauropods had survived that humans probably would have lived a nomadic lifestyle alongside the herds, much like the Plains Indians did in North America with the buffalo. I watched a documentary that suggested the Sauropods might have continuously laid eggs, leaving the hatchlings to fend for their selves, laying thousands of eggs each year. Only a small percentage would have survived, but it was more than enough to carry on the species. The young would head for deep forests and eat and only rejoin the herds when they were large enough to pose too much of a threat to predators. There would be no reason a group of hunters could not round up a few young, keep them fed as they followed the herds and gotten them use to carrying weight and being around humans. Selecting the creatures with the best temperament and reintroducing them to the herd would eventually, over thousands of years produce whole new breeds. Much the same way we have breed dogs from wolves and the many horse breeds we have. One more thing, I think too much of an emphasis is put on brain size and intelligence, I know brain cavities can show which parts of the brain are developed and you can make assumptions on what areas a creature is advanced in. But if you compare a Crow, a large dog breed, a Dolphin and a let's say a shark you really have no idea of their capabilities until you see them perform. I think Sauropods may have been underestimated in that regard. TLDR; I think Sauropods are amazing and riding them would be cool :)
Thank you :) You have to play around with some file settings and there a good few mods involved. I made a how to build video explaining it ua-cam.com/video/LXnTZDwCPcU/v-deo.html
Tbh you put a hella lot of thought into this, I'm sh00keth. I personally went pretty nuts building a flying city/train with quetzals, but this is absolutely wicked! 🤘
Thanks man :) I have a video about all the settings and mods I use to build these things. When they get a lot of structures on them you will get an fps drop But they are cool to live on when they are stationary.
cool glad you like it :), I think that's why I got so hooked on building because I use to get the same sort of comments from other players on the PvE servers I played on, I enjoy building things that make people go 'wow look at that' :)
The Pilgrimz Project i really like the botanical one but all your themes are complex and filled with nooks and beautifully layered levels. Awe inspiring
how do we get the giant pillars ? and the fencing at the back the intertwined fencing looks like bamboo fencing how do we stack them witch mod are they from ?
hi pilgrime just 1 question how do you stacks farm twigs and branches fencing like that is their a code to add or something mine dont stack what am i doing wrong the fencing at the back of your build where the griffin is ???
Thanks :) I just posted this the other day, it's a tutorial for getting one of these big Titan bases started ua-cam.com/video/LXnTZDwCPcU/v-deo.html If you skip to about 25:48 I run through this base construction.
This took a few days to build after the main structure was built I had to make sure it was all accessible, building rooms and stairways to connect it all up. I have a few big Titan builds on my channel :)
Thank you :) I started entering the Comunity Crunch ARKitect competition on the official Ark forums so had to step up my designs, I won it 7 times but they don't run it anymore. I have been building on Ark for almost the whole time I have played like 3 years now
I did most of the filming with Gforce Ansel screen capture on so I could still have my character on the Titan, and get a really good look at the place. I also liked the frozen flame and smoke gfx I looked like I had captured a moment in time that you could move through
Real question, how frustrating does it get when the game places stuff where it isn't highlighted, or replaces parts already in place that weren't highlighted? I know sure as hell it's the bane of my existence
Yeah I know what you mean, especially with the bigger items like behemoth gates when you have farmed just enough. I play in creative mode a lot while I am building now so it's not as harsh. I barely notice all the little flaws in the building system when I am doing something like this build, probably because I am concentrating on the design :)
I hear that a lot m8, I got my own server and have it on official setting with no mods So I can build places that can be replicated on console. Just to see if I could build some cool structures without mods
You can use the 'feed raid dino' setting and they will live on single player and unofficial servers. There are some unofficial servers that are starting to have mobile bases only
I assume you're using this mod: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/comments/787522023 If so, what do we feed the darned things??? Thanks for your time
Hey no Titan mod m8, I just clicked the [Feed raid dino] option, that will let them live and you can have up to 3 active on a server and changed the setting for how much food the dinos consume. I have done this on unofficial servers and on my single player
@@ThePilgrimzProject OK, but what do you feed them? I assume berries? BTW, your Desert and Winter Trader builds gave me the biggest jawdrop I think I've ever had XD Amazing work.

Do you want to do a speed build pls
I want to make it too
This reminds me of mortal engines
1: love the build.
2: love the Skyrim music.
Thanks :)
And Skyrim props
THE TITAN CAN HOLD A WHOLE CITY?!?!?!
With a few mods and changing some settings :)
How
but how can I disable limit on platform saddles??
why you subject yourself to the game's horrible building mechanics to create these amazing works of art baffles me dude.

is what I meant to say

Well I'm actually coming up with a video game that has a giant moving city involved
In my opinion you are the best builder on Ark; this platform is incredible.
Thanks man I appreciate it :) I really enjoy building on the Titans, they look like they were just built to carry whole tribes

Dude another awesome build again ! Lots of detail in this one.
Hey Bryson thanks man, yeah lots of detail in this place there are still rooms I didn't manage to get in the video :)
glad you like

WOW! This ist incredible. Beautyful work! I'm blown away.
Thanks :) These Titan builds have been really popular
This is one of the most creative builds I've seen.
thanks :)
Amazing as always!!! Your titan builds just keep getting better and better!
How is this even possible best thing ive ever seen

Tbh this design needs a whole damn movie/story/smthn based off it!! Holy scheisse!!!
(Hella tempted to write a short story on this!!)
Tbh you put a hella lot of thought into this, I'm sh00keth. I personally went pretty nuts building a flying city/train with quetzals, but this is absolutely wicked! 🤘
That and the music is absolutely spot on. 👌👌
Make more buildings on titanosaur
I will :)
This should have more likes
This is freaking amazing and it helps me make my own
Thanks man :) I have a video about all the settings and mods I use to build these things.
When they get a lot of structures on them you will get an fps drop But they are cool to live on when they are stationary.
I have started a mini base on a paracer and it’s turning out good
Absolutely stunning creation, great job
Thanks very much :)
Cool build again cous

And here i understand what I dk how to build nice bases)
Great work as usual buddy
Amazing build my friend.
Thanks very much :) Really enjoyed building this one
Love it, you build things that i wanna explore and live in

...only to be gone in 24 hours... unless you put the setting where you can feed it
Amazing work
Thank you :)
This is incredible.
Thanks man, this build was on the Ark live stream a couple of weeks back the Devs reviewed it :)
Super
Wow so good!
Nice base!
Thank you
Please make a a build tutorial for this and the desert trader
imagine this beast with brontos by its side with smaller citys on them
Reminds me off mobile engines except dino style nice work👍
I did not know that you can do this🤯🤯
Yeah lot of fun, Kinda laggy when walking but cool to live on if you can find a unofficial server with the right settings n mods :)
It would be so cool to build one of this at our Xbox privateserver. Maybe oneday you build one up without mods? ;p
how do we get the giant pillars ? and the fencing at the back the intertwined fencing looks like bamboo fencing how do we stack them witch mod are they from ?

Just wow...+1 sub for you sir, bravo!
I just noticed a few messages on here I haven't replied to :) Thanks a lot for the sub man am glad you like the build
Love your work dude. I need s+ in my life lol
Thanks a lot Joe :) S+ is amazing I hope they get around to putting it in the main game. I am a huge ABC Warriors fan btw
How did you build the mammoth crane? Is that a MOD or just make it look like it is? Could u make a vedio for details?
Hello that création is amazing can we download it?
i would love to see a step by step tutorial for this build it is amazing

thanks i have been trying all day to copy this build
Michael Dasilva cool, have fun building.
Amazing!
Wow...this is the base build base on titan
Yeah I had to raise the platform structure limit and I used the Castle Keeps and forts mod for the build
Amazing!! BTW how did that titanosaur carry that much
Thanks glad you like it :) I upped the platform structure limit a lot
How long did it take you to build and have you or would you do more videos like this in the future
This took a few days to build after the main structure was built I had to make sure it was all accessible, building rooms and stairways to connect it all up. I have a few big Titan builds on my channel :)
I just noticed how big the titanosouce is lol
love it bro
Thanks john :)
yw ty 4 the build
this is so bad azz 3rd time watching it :)
Magnífico!
wow very nice how you learned to build?

how do you get your titanosaur not to sway back and forth?
I did most of the filming with Gforce Ansel screen capture on so I could still have my character on the Titan, and get a really good look at the place. I also liked the frozen flame and smoke gfx I looked like I had captured a moment in time that you could move through
amazing

most incredible thing i seen on ark😂
Thanks man :) I have built a few of these, they have had a great response glad you like it.

awesome, very much appreciated :) and welcome to the channel
How can you build this my dud!!!!!!!!

i like it's, bro ! But how to build ? can you teach me
Hey, Thanks. I made a video on what settings you need and how to get started building one of these ua-cam.com/video/LXnTZDwCPcU/v-deo.html
Good
Thank you :)
Awasome
Thanks :)
You guys on pc are so lucky u can use mods
Yeah I would love to have seen some of the decor mods come to official
everyone gangsta till the titanosaur dies
Why does this remind me of something out of studio ghibli.
Sir are u an engineer?
New sub :D
Wow
isn't this not worth it though if they starve in 5 days
You can use the 'feed raid dino' setting and they will live on single player and unofficial servers. There are some unofficial servers that are starting to have mobile bases only
Fuckin sick mate
ha thanks, glad you like it :)
I know how to increase the structure limit, but how'd you make the distance from the dino and height limits go away?
hey I have no foundation support on and platforms plus maybe that makes a difference, but I still hit limits on the sides and hight
Oh that's a platforms plus thingy in there! Did you use snappy saddles?
How
A lot of mods and settings editing
I assume you're using this mod: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/comments/787522023 If so, what do we feed the darned things??? Thanks for your time
Hey no Titan mod m8, I just clicked the [Feed raid dino] option, that will let them live and you can have up to 3 active on a server and changed the setting for how much food the dinos consume. I have done this on unofficial servers and on my single player

You smell that? *sniff sniff* smells like S+ that console doesn’t have.
Sad it only lasts 24 hours
It is, but I have the 'feed Raid dino' setting on so It will live :)
You could build it on a bronto
Dragon Gamer TV I don’t think that is gunna work
I built something a lot smaller but with the same Idea on a bronto b4 not as impressive tho
What do u mean only lasts 24 hours?
And I thought my 4 by 4 house with pillars was cool.
You are better than arong lognstaf
Omg
😰😰😰😮🤐speechless
Thanks :)
Both no mods
owaaaaaaaao
Reminds mean of skyrim lol.
More than a month went by trying to build something equally amazing. Results: Still trash at ark
animal cruelity
