I'm basically 15 and for some reason i enjoy learning about this stuff. Weird thing is that i actually get the stuff as i already have loads of aviation knowledge at such young age.
Awesome, I have a 17 year old going to his flight exam tomorrow for the helicopter license. I started his training when he was 14. You’ll learn fast at a young age.
great videos ! - I understand why lowering the collective increases rotor rpm and raising it loweres rotor rpm - but why does aft cyclic increase rotor rpm and forward cyclic lower rpm ? thx
Aft cyclic will cause the attitude of the helicopter to pitch up, thus causing more airflow though the rotor system. Forward cyclic causes the helicopter to pitch down, thus reducing airflow through the rotor system
