My GSP went into heart failure but diaretics really helped. The gagging stopped and she went on for another couple of years until she was almost 15. One day she didn't want to go for her walk, the next she died in her bed as I was stroking her. Her name was Yulan and she was beautiful and I thank God for sharing her with me.

Yes Diaretics is huge help combine with his heart medication. Just very very sad. Gagging was started about 3-4 days and went to the Vet and our dog diagnosed with CHF, even one day without two medications he is having hard time breathing and gagging and hacking are back. So must stay on that, since then everyday is a blessing that he still with us and we are still counting days more. Thank you.
