Just fitted my wheel and was unsure about the gap between the RH spacer and the axle, good to see that it was normal. Thanks very much for the video ;)
Yeah this guy only replies to positive comments. Shame he doesn’t edit this as it also wasted my time. Apparently his torque specs are completely wrong too so mostly a waste of time…
Your torque for the two pinch bolts is totally incorrect. It's not 6 foot-pound, it's 16. The actual spec is 22 Nm. Your spec for the axle bolt was correct, 69 Nm. You also are supposed to compress the forks a couple of times before tightening down the two pinch bolts, doing so will prevent any binding of the pistons inside the forks due to misalignment.
@@leeknievel748 somethings you can get away with some not. I would use a torque wrench on engine internals but most everything outside that I'm confident enough in my skills not to.
@DaBinChe Yeah your skills are so honed you jack up a wheel before breaking the fasteners and you can't even read the correct socket size. "iT's A 12mM"🤪 You have NO BUSINESS making how to videos!
Mate if you say 12mm Allen make sure it is right. This was a waste of time for me and unfortunately I didn’t check the comments before. It would be good if you edited that part of the video out. Not useful at all. 👎

It is not a 12 mm! It has to be bigger, I looked at your video and went by that. It was too SMALL
It's true, it is a 14mm
My CRF250L is a 14mm, I’m guessing the 300l is 14mm too.
I measured on my CRF 300LA (MY2022) and it is 14mm. Perhaps you would like to make a comment in the film and give the correct info.
Yes, drove 30 min to get the 12mil at a shop. Got home, bummer. Got it the next day.

thanks for this video - got a 300L and always prefer watching bike specific videos for this, every bike has its kink
Hi , we need a SUPERPINION ( BEST front sprocket just like SUPERPINION ) for our CRF300L / THX for forward around
Put the 14mm hex bit detail in the video title; no one is reading the comments or description first.
Just measured axle allen flat to flat on my 2021 is 14MM not 12
Why would Honda go with this 14mm allen key for the front axel? Its so odd.
internal so it doesn't get damage compared to external in a crash

Did you do a video on the rear wheel?
not yet, will soon
thanks, very helpful
But why didnt you go ahead on those pinch bolts and use your torque wrench anyway?
I have enough experience to go by feel
@@DaBinChe Well, ok, so do I but i'd rather be exact lol

It’s not 12mm I just went to the store and bought one
Do you have a rear removal video?
I thought I made one, but guess not. I'll make one when I need to remove it.
@@DaBinChe You gonna tell him the wrong tool size like you didn't this video?
Good vid, appreciated 👍
How the f*** is it a good video when he's literally quoting the wrong size tool?🤷🤷🤷
Thank you grerat video for someone who has never done it before.
Yeah great video, go buy a 12 mm socket when it's actually a 14.

Anytime you put up a video that has the wrong tool described is pathetic at best
