Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Inaugurates Life Pearl Pharmaceutical Factory

On July 25, 2024, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, inaugurated the Life Pearl Pharmaceutical Factory in the 9th district of Kabul, marking the commencement of its operations. The ceremony was attended by Acting Minister of Public Health, Maulvi Noor Jalal Jalali, Acting Minister of Economy, Qari Din Mohammad Hanif, several government officials, and representatives from the private sector.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that high-quality medicines ensure the health of a thriving human society, while substandard drugs pose a threat to life. He stressed that quality must take precedence over quantity in pharmaceutical production. Mullah Baradar Akhund highlighted that this pharmaceutical factory would not only benefit the health of the citizens but also significantly contribute to the country’s economic growth.
