After some input and your thoughts guys, been bouncing an idea around about making a second channel JUST for the cooking parts of my trips, it WONT be new content and will just be a re-edit put together to hopefully pull in some new viewers to the main channel and maybe help to fund the trips and keep the show on the road, NOTHING will change on here and the full mis-adventures will continue but this is not a normally done thing on youtube as far as im aware as its NOT going to be new content, whats your thoughts guys ? Good idea or selling out ?
Hello WW it's not going to cost anything to make and edit the videos it's a win win mate, makes you bit more cheese and more content for us to watch, most are here for your charisma and wild character! You make my day when a vid comes up I know il be smiling by end the video 😎🙂👍👌🔥🚗❤️
Cracking idea , brush up on what grows on your walks as well ..mushrooms, wild garlic , herbs, berries etc pick and add them to your cooking highlights in the future … bit of foraging research 🧐 👍👍
Hi Adam, as someone has said already, either a split charge relay or solar panel are your best options, maybe one of those little battery charger solar panels from amazon may help, just be careful you don't let your batteries drop below around the 12v area or they will start to deteriate fast, try and keep the batteries up around 12.4v mate
my problems are all about my laptop tbf ... it sucks 180watts so normal inverters are no good would have to hook it upto the car battery which ive always wanted to avoid, having extra batteries inside the car and so on, need to have a think what im going to do
Nicely done again, can't wait to the next episode down the gower, regarding camping N Wales come in land slightly around the hills always pick up small campsites, then a 20 min drive to the coast with kids, hills, sea, sand they'll love it, stay safe 👍
Hi Adam ,old lady subber here.....it's a yes from me for the miss mash of cooking ect. Infact I often watch the old vlogs cooking sections, To BE FAIR.....I'M NOT GONNA LIE😉...it amazes me how the SHIZNIC....your still alive mate 😃 All the best to you 👍👍💝
When you do a pizza, don't pre cook doe and pre heat the top part of the pan first, then put top of pan on the other one which has your cold raw pizza doe and toppings on and have the flame on as low as ait will go, and just keep moving the pan around every 45seconds to gently heat all around the pan. I'm out on a trip at the moment doing the coastline of South Wales and it's been beautiful! Beaches are so lovely. Unfortunately my radiator has gone and getting fixed tomoz which is a bonus as where still on our trip heading towards Snowdonia National Park soon as radiator is fixed. 😀 I think it's great you will have some power for your fridge etc, makes such a big difference.. I love to see your hikes&cooking, your a tonic to watch. Must admit I've never seen so many signs around for no over night parking... Anyway thank you for sharing another great video 😃
dude... u know you're the ideal sponsor for Jackery. FFS get in touch with them... they'll give ya a unit, you'd be buzzin. love ya attitude. brilliant man.
I know the Gower extremely well, it gets so condense and packed in the height of the summer months, I know a couple of places I have parked overnight but I have hiked away from the car to set up a tent, so it is not car camping I guess, there are places that are safe and stunning to camp, but it only works in the late seasons or winter, basically most of the locals either know well or own land with campsites, and frown upon a tourist not cashing in on their income, like a lot of places, it is often safer (from snobby locals) and way easier to camp in the off peak or later seasons for sure! or if car camping in the summer peak months to travel to more sparse areas! that is what I do for less hassle, but you have a good channel to upkeep good content, excellent videos!
kinda what i was thinking to be fair everywhere is madness in the season atm i was following processions of motorhomes through scotland lol, it is what it is but yeh off season im looking forward to with all that solitude and space lol
If in Hay on Wye again, check out the Gospel Pass , it's the highest road in Wales or South Wales , nice scenery, places to park, it's only a lane and better coming from Hay , the Abergavenny end is not great but worth driving over to the cattle grid then turning around and heading back to Hay
not 100% sure but i may have gone up that on the way home to check some 'SPOTS' think i came up the wrong way over the cattle grid, 1st gear and switchbacks not cool lol
finally caught up watching your last 4 videos and has always they are very entertaining, keep doing what you do beat Adam, look forward to your next adventure
Ah OK, in my van I've got a 100w solar panel, 2 120 ah leisure batteries and a 1500w inverter, I can run pretty much anything, I think the inverter was around £150 ish that would run your laptop easily and really easy to install, good luck mate, love the videos
A super video there. You would be best to get an in car laptop power supply, they are about twenty squid at the most, it won't use anywhere near as much power as a separate inverter of about 150 watts this will replace your mains power supply while on the road. A solar panel to charge the batteries with controller is the next thing you will need, about eighty to a hundred watts should do it. Also split charge is easy to fit and cheap.
been having a look at laptop chargers im still not 100% sure but i think my laptop pulls 180watts which puts me in an odd position the lps only really go upto 150watts and a normal inverter does the same anything over 150 i need to hook up to the car battery which is the one thing im trying to avoid .... not sure if these 2 small batteries would be enough for a 200 watts inverter, need to work it out or look at one of the big boy portable power stations
@@wanderingwhere look at the laptop battery, that will give you more idea, it should only draw about 65 Watts. The mains power supply will go much more and is not what the actual computer uses uknow uknow. 🤔🤔🤔😁😁😁
There are some places you can park for free in the Gower. My friend and I stayed for 2 nights recently in her small camper van. 2 mins walk to the beach....
Make sure you visit 3 cliffs bay, and if you reach Hillend campsite let me know, you are in a stunning area, my brother is at Hillend he can give you some pointers in the Gower 👍
Mate, another cooking extravaganza. Who needs a rolling pin when you've got a bottle of pop, and the disinfecting the board trick whilst draining the pasta was ingenious. That pizza was burnt more than Gandhis ashes, but that's good as stops any salmonella or ebola poisoning and the smell deters any Welsh midges sneaking into the crib. Also you can have a sneaky midnight munch on them magic mushrooms and bunyons you dropped by the side of your bed without having to get up. You know you know.
Note to one's self to not precook the dough lol and I strongly recommend paper plates for life on the road 😉absolutely perfect for that kind of food etc, happy camping boss keep up the good work 👍

Thought you'd smashed that pizza. All was looking good until... 😂 couldn't help but laugh sorry mate. Glad you've finally got something to stop your meat turning brown too 😊
Result! No more sour meat 'don'tcha know'! I used to love car camping on the open road but it is becoming more difficult with all the new rules. Hopefully areas will lose revenue from visitors from afar that can't get onto a designated site with electric, showers and loos. I've never left litter, parked inconsiderately or stayed more than one night at a spot and am sure most of us that enjoy this pursuit are like-minded . I was moved on once by the police in Essex, but that was because I was getting snowed in and in a mini. I had no idea it had even started to snow I was toasty and blissfully knocking out the ZZZZ's!
@@wanderingwhere Yep in a mini, and one trip was 2221.2 miles in six days. Kent to Scotland then Wales and back to Kent. That was 1985 when £10 of fuel took you further than to the next petrol station!
oh epic m8 2200 miles lol, honeslty cant wait to get some proper power sorted in the zaffy so i can do some mega trips like that over a bit more time though 😉
honestly, because ive heard you need to buy a meal in the pub and i just try and avoid spending any extra cheese when im on my trips al though saying this it might be worth a shot one time might not be much more than i spend on cooking
I live in the Gower and have a camper. Sadly since the lockdown camper craze everything has been off limits and I've never met such nasty locals about it.
got chatting with a few locals while i was they were saying the problems where coming from local younguns' from just outside the gower coming over and partying
@@eamonexplores6619 had an epic time , kind of had a bad vibe about the place before i got there because of all the parking comments but after meeting and chatting with some epic locals and exploring the place frikin loved it deffo coming back
Just thinking as a tip for saving money on gas, but you would have to keep the car going, powering through a car sim wave converter you could plug a 2 hob set up, and a electric George foreman? however I use a gas or alcohol stove for the camping vibe and less faff
Bloody el! Why didn't you say you were heading down this way. I'm in Port Talbot. I'd have cooked you some scram. Some tea or breakfast you nutter 😂 Also..I'm glad you didn't stay overnight at that kenfig carpark. Bit of a dogging spot.. Apparently... So I'm told 😂

Just goes to say how even a sketchy spot can be sound if you have some other people with you, safety in numbers and that!
yeh deffo 👍
Thought you'd smashed that pizza. All was looking good until... 😂 couldn't help but laugh sorry mate. Glad you've finally got something to stop your meat turning brown too 😊
3rd time lucky ..... maybe, twice ive killed a pizza in that thing
Gud Vid👍
I had no idea it had even started to snow I was toasty and blissfully knocking out the ZZZZ's!
lol in a mini :) .... yeh its gonna be epic
Why don't you try pub stopovers
honestly, because ive heard you need to buy a meal in the pub and i just try and avoid spending any extra cheese when im on my trips al though saying this it might be worth a shot one time might not be much more than i spend on cooking
I live in the Gower and have a camper. Sadly since the lockdown camper craze everything has been off limits and I've never met such nasty locals about it.
got chatting with a few locals while i was they were saying the problems where coming from local younguns' from just outside the gower coming over and partying
Aye, that too. It was happening all over last summer. It's such a small place as you know. Hope you had a good time there. Loved the vid :)
They just want money money money haha
not having mine .... ive not got any lol
@@wanderingwhere same mate haha enjoy your vids
Jesus. That pizza. 😂.
There's only been 1 successful one, I'm guessing this wasn't it
@@wanderingwhere 😂
So I'm told 😂
haha dont tell brian he stayed there the night before ..... could have done with that breakfast though didnt take much with me, maybe next time deffo be back down there still got half the peninsula to explore
@@wanderingwhere Massive cooked breakfast with your name on it next time you're down this way 👍 There's spots to park up by Aberavon beach, although it might be a bit too urban for your liking. Keep the vids coming. We love watching them in our house 😊👍
Ooooooh you shouldn't of cut off the edges!!!!!! Next time put in some cheese and roll the edges to have a crispy cheesy crust 🤤🤤🤤

proper paranoid mate. you make me anxious watching your videos. too much paranoia
Your description of your 'ear infection' might be wax which needs to be removed. Perhaps you should check?
Odd u say that I've been getting hard wax in my ears lately
@@wanderingwhere In that case, go for a check up. It might be a benefit to have your ears cleared out...
That's 2 failed attempts.. Think it's best to watch Jamie Oliver on UA-cam.. He never fux it up its how icook my meals just follow him
pizza just NOT my thing lol
