John thanks for following the channel. We most definitely will be back. How else we gonna see all our new “ yankee” friends? PS. Jordan Ross promised me a 20” brook trout so I will be back. 😉😂😂

Hunters and fisherman are woven from the same fabric in many aspects regardless of their origin for sure Bill. For the record they say we talk funny Bill 🤷

Such a cool video. Chasing brookies is so special in and of itself, but chasing them with a bigger purpose in mind is even better. Thanks for sharing! I enjoyed the video!

They are doing neat things with Trout Power for sure. Since Grant makes sure the IRS doesn’t get me, we need to all get together and fish @ColbertOutdoors.

Hope the ADK was worth it for you guys. It takes a love for gambling to come up for brookies and feel like you won everytime. In 10 yrs Ive had 3 great ones on a certain watershed. Ill go again.

Oh the time at camp and with the boys from JP Ross made the whole trip worth it. We actually caught several dozen fish in the middle of no where in the ADK that aren’t seen in the film. I did see one really really big one but didn’t catch it. But sitting in the water master in the middle of the famed ADK was a bucket list thing for sure. Can’t wait to go back.

Guys, I really enjoyed watching this one !! I’m mainly a brown and bow fly fisherman but lately I’ve been blue lining for brooke’s. One creek in the New River Gorge area here in Wv I fished had some beautiful brook trout. I fished roughly a 500 yd section and caught 12. Eight were 9-12” range and about 4 of them somewhat smaller but not by much. Their colors varied a lot from really dark to light. Would catching this many and the size of them be considered a good creek quality and quantity wise ? I don’t know much about brook trout streams. Any info will be appreciated!! Thanks!!!

WV, that sounds like a pretty solid brook trout stream to me. A 12” wild native brook trout is a big one in a lot of places south of Canada. In my experience, populations can fluctuate from multiple fish every pool to creeks with a only one fish a pool or one every few pools. Really depends on habitat and water quality. Exploring out of the way, small water fisheries is what it’s all about. Fish numbers and size comes in on down the list for me anyway. Hope you enjoy a variety of fishing adventures in the future and thanks for watching.
