The other idea for keeping those signatures together is using very thin elastic tied in the middle to hold each signature. It makes it really fast and easy to add more pages by removing a particular signature!❤

Thank you...when I move i have several ideas for creative art classes, and this one made it easy to introduce this junk journal method..I am an artist but not trained I just love creating. I am going to try and get in touch with her. There are so many other methods and components! I also wondered how one gets noticed in an Esty shop. I had one for.a little it all got a little confusing in the back areas on how yo pick free shipping and that side of it...and may be pressed wrong areas as etsy charges extra to the merchant in the sale of an item....that was disappointing....good wishes with your classes and creative expression 🌟🦋🎀

Thank you for such a good beginners tutorial, that not only shows a simple way of putting a journal together, but talks about the aspects of one. Yours is also pretty... something that many are not in my opinion. I prefer pretty. 😄
I've been watching so many videos, trying to figure out how (and 'why', truth be told) to make one of these "junk journals". Most are too complicated and confusing for a beginner to grasp... or have so much 'junk' in them they are rendered useless to me because there's no real place to write. This journal you've made has plenty of pages that are big enough to write on.
I really like the idea of tying the signatures into place rather than stitching or gluing or making holders that a page slides over. This keeps it very simple...and makes the journal adjustable as it gets written in and filled. 🥰

Also for inking edges you can use coffee and a sponge just another way thought i would put that idea in as well
What a lovely way for beginners althoigh if they made it this far they can probably handle a simple pamphlet stitch.

I really like the tied in signatures but it would also allow you to remove a signature and replace it or whatever. Thank you so much. I've been wanting to do this for a long time but it looked to complicated and hard to do. You made it simple and easy.
