hey George - thank you for sharing! that definitely does sound incredibly tough but i hope that you've gotten through it or if you're currently going through it, i hope you find a happy resolution. best of luck and wishing you success!
I definitely made many mistakes and focused on the wrong things at times but a lot of those were necessary experiences and not necessarily experiences that I regret. My biggest regret is not making or maintaining connections during the pandemic. During the lockdown, I became very unsociable. I just did my work and spent the rest of the time mostly alone. There were so many opportunities I could have taken advantage of like online events and opportunities to meet people. I think as a CS student, it seems pretty "natural" to just be kinda socially avoidant, a lot of people even seem proud to be this way. I don't think it's helpful or conducive to a successful career or happiness, even as an introvert. From now on, I make an effort to say "yes" to more things even if it makes me uncomfortable.
hi Tabeeb! thanks so much for sharing and that's a great way of reframing these kinds of things. i definitely relate to what you shared about not retaining connections and how important it is moving forward, especially once you get to starting your own career. due to a lot of relationships falling through, i had a difficult time feeling less alone when it came to moving and starting over. a lot of new grads fall back on their college friends but with the combination of living off campus, graduating early, and the pandemic, i started to feel more and more isolated like you mentioned. i'm totally with you on trying to say yes to more things and building back up connections!
The audio is very weird, makes it really hard to hear audio without your head hurts, it’s very sharp. Sadly, I can not finish the video because of that. I recommend re-upload if possible
hey Atom - so sorry to hear that! i didn't change anything about the way i edit my audio and it seems to be okay on my end and for other viewers but I apologize! i'll look into it and see if there's anything i can do next time around.
A lot of headaches finding an internship job! Too many students, 1k from my program, compete for limited working opportunity here in Chengdu.

My regret is not doing leetcode sooner.
that's ok! leetcode is a very buildable skill so with consistency, you'll see yourself get better and better :)
Yeah, I’m not addicted to your videos at all 😂👍🏾✨
