Brilliant video, and I'm glad you popped out to check on cute little Saffy half way through the shop, and mentioned that she wasn't in the car for long. I always whizz around the shop so fast if my little dogs are waiting for me on the cooler days when I take them with me. Another fantastic video Freya & Charlie of budget shopping in the discount supermarket Lidl. Lidl is nearer me but for vegan products like vegan cheese, yogurt, and even some canned foods like pinto beans and borlotti beans I can't find either in the discount supermarkets so have to substitute or buy them from one of the other big supermarkets. Love 🥰 the video and love 💞Freya & ❤ Charlie.

i love Lidl, i am not from the UK (from NL) but it's really different depending on what Lidl you go to. we have lidls here that are great but also lidls that are really bad. the one i frequently go to is amazing, loads of vegan options. but the one close to my parents is awful. not much to get. the fruit and veg at mine is great as well. thanks for this amazing video!

We’re so lucky nowadays with the options we have, especially here is Bristol which is a much more lefty green city than a lot of the UK. Even 8 years or so ago, when we started our veganism, it was such a different landscape. We’re so glad you’re enjoying our videos and welcome to our little slice of the vegan community 💚
So we’ve heard! Although I think wages are lower here compared to the States overall. We do feel lucky though to have some super affordable options here 😊
It’s hard to say, they are so similar bit in many ways different. We still prefer Aldi, but only just. Our local Aldi is just a bit better than our local Lidl.
