cool idea to have odd sounds amplified by a box into a transducer into an amp then add reverb to it in the mix or whatever effects you want. That spring in the lower middle is really cool. It wobbles a long time and has a raspy sound to it.
I´d say a little black ink, goats blood and some fake splatter effects and the box would look like it sounds... alternatively you could always just heat the springs up to glowing-red and put some barbwire and razor blades in strategic positions in and around the box and it will not only look the part after a while but there will also be these subtle screams and heavy breathing from the player in pain that can be utilized... nice demo this is a good formfactor and some usable and impressive sounds.
What do you use to connect stuff to the box? Any particular sizes you can recommend? I've got the piezo and everything wired up but can't figure out how to start connecting my springs and other stuff besides grounding bars for some of it

My heart when I smell my spinach puffs burning: 1:19
This has such a deep sound. Powerful and haunting.
This is inspiring. There was some decent bass coming from those springs. This would make a lot of great samples and one shots.
Thanks man! Yes, that box sounds great. A sample pack is planned actually!
Nice! Designing my own currently. Great use of Space using the suitcase.

Great clean sounds.
Nice, and inspiring. Now I want a box so I can try some of this.
gorgeous!
extremly cool sounding :) is this just the piezo mics or is there any preamp built into it?
Amazing !!!

Awesome!

Did you build a preamp into the box? I see you have what appear to be tone or volume control knobs on the side.
;-)
nice job
Cool. What is it plugged into? Amp, effects ...?
...nice one

Good bass response. Are you using a buffer circuit?
From all the boxes I've seen, none of them have been buffered. Generally a piezo pickup wired to a mono output jack.
I am also curious though.
You use any particular contact microphones?
I mostly use 50mm piezos

Wow! How many piezos on this particular unit?
Three in total : one on the lid, one on the bottom and one on a side :)
@@DaFake , each of them with its own output jack?
Where did you find that box???
I made it, any wooden box would do the job, you just need Piezo mics and then a lot of junks to fix on the box !
