Love Spilly!! Grew up watching him play for the AAA Colorado Springs Sky Sox. I remember when he got called up and always rooted for him. His big walk off grand in '09 was huge in getting them to the playoffs that year and is one of the best moments in Rox history.

    Spilly!
I asked a local sports talk host once how the Rockies could improve the franchise. His answer was, "Move."

Sell! Monfort is the problem, not the location. Fans love the whole Coors Field experience

Rockies have such an awesome game experience there but they're also run like a small fam biz

Maybe I’m wrong, but I think the team either needs to move, or build a stadium with a dome and pump in humidity. That doesn’t dismiss the fact you need ownership that actually cares about winning, and not just lining their pockets.

Only way Rox can win is with an outfield of Gold Glove caliber CFs in all three positions, an infield that can turn double plays( with pitchers who can induce them) , and pitchers who don't walk too many.

As a lifelong Cubs fan, it really depresses me to see what Kris Bryant has become. Granted injuries have really taken their toll lately but man, Bryant on the Cubs might be one of the best players we ever saw play at Wrigley. Ron Santo is a HOF no doubt but Kris is the Cubs all time best 3B.

Rockies need to step into the future and get a good pitching development program and stop with the nonsense of ground ball pitchers.. and retain their talent instead of letting them leave....Tulo, Cargo, Nolan, Trevor, Gray....ect

Why did they sign Kris Bryant again 🤔

Wouldn't getting pitchers that induce allot of grounders help.

That’s been tried before, not too much success either. Jeff Francis was a fly ball pitcher and had success. It’s all a mixed bag.

Pitch to contact? Sounds like the Cardinal approach lol. Maybe they’re always just training for Coors? 🤣

The Rockies will never be good, they've been trash my entire life, and there's no reason to think anything will ever change.

Agreed, they need to build a dome and pump in humidity, or move the team. A new ownership wouldn’t hurt either.
