THANKS! My Mom and Wife love these and I wanted to make some that were more personalized. You are one of the few that shows the process of designing! Thanks again!
What an amazing, informative video. This is one that I will refer to often as you have covered so many areas of design. What a beautiful gift, made with a lot of love. Thank you.
Hi yes, Pixelmator is currently only compatible with Apple. I haven't tried this one, but did see that GIMP has a lot of positive reviews and similar capability to Pixelmator. It is compatible with Windows. Photoshop is another option but is expensive.
I used pixelmator, which is a photo editing software compatible with Mac. At 41 seconds in this video, you can see I used the purple highlighter to select areas of the photo based on lines and color differences that the software automatically uses. I used the same highlighter tool to select the individual people and their hands. Because their hand color was similar, the tool didn't auto select perfectly so after I had one person deleted out I went in with the paint brush and manually cleaned up the lines. When exporting as a .png, the file saves all the marks as one layer so it will show as a solid image when loading the exported file into design space, regardless if there is paint or shapes added to the image. After I had one person isolated, I reopened the unedited image and repeated the whole process with the second person. Hope this helps!

I'd love to see how it turns out!
Bello!!!
Pixelmator is Apple? Can you recommend an app Windows can use?

How did you edit the couple to separate them and their hands? I’d love to see that, please!

Love your tuition but I cant find the detailed instructions on making the shadow box frame
Hi Yana, I just uploaded the video for how to make the frame. Here's the link! ua-cam.com/video/fmoAXaJN7pc/v-deo.html
What kind of paper did you used
I use 65 pound cardstock. It is sturdy enough to hold the cut shapes vertically, but not too thick that the light won't shine through.
