Spoon Sports Civic Type R FL5 at NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill 2023

Spoon Sports USA banded together with Spoon Sports Japan again for the NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill. This time, with an all-new Civic Type R FL5 race car. Together with a new platform, Spoon Sports USA and Japan worked tirelessly in a short amount of time to get the car race ready. Diving into the unknown with a new platform, not knowing what will work and what will work, etc. It was a test trial within the actual trial, and the entire team did a stellar job with pushing forward despite running into issues during the race. In the end, we finished 4th in class and 9th overall with 622 laps completed. We proudly hold our heads high and thank everyone for all the effort and determination. The car survived and so did the team.
