Running off a mountain and soar up silent in a thermal. Flying flat with arms out like as a bird. It is in our genes and dreams. You see this smile on all people that do it in real life for the first time. I have met again people that I flew tandem in the 80ies. They have never forgotten that magic experience.
Well, I dont think that she will start a hanggliding career. Like many of my passengers they have studied hanggliding on internet and have decided that this is something they want to experience. However, most people do not want to do all the effort of learning to fly for themself. Too much work, time and effort. So a tandem is the most viable. Actually, after 35 years in hanggliding my advice to girls is that paragliding is a more viable airsport which is not that physically demanding. Like it or not, but my opinion is that for doing serious hanggliding the pilot need to be physical strong. Most hanggliders are too heavy and physical demanding to operate for a 60kg girl. All my friends that have been successful in hanggliding are strong and fit guys. Sorry, just how it is.

TheFjordflier Egentig ganske greit. Jeg flyr med dem de kommer med og får betalt 1700 per tur for bare å ha en fin flytur.
