You are half correct about the 1st location. Beef in Malay is Daging, while Dagang actually means traveller. Nasi Dagang is a specialty dish originated on the East Coast of Malaysia which consist of rice (steamed in coconut milk) and usually served along with mackerel drenched in savoury and spicy curry. In Malaysia, if you see the term Nasi followed by another unusual term, it probably a specific name for speciality dish such as Nasi Kerabu, Nasi Tomato, etc. Well, except for Nasi Campur, which is normal rice, and Campur means Mix so you take your rice and mix it yourself with whatever you want. I believe the rice you have at Nasi Dagang Pak Malau is also Nasi Dagang (steamed coconut flavoured rice) but with your own selection of curry.
Wow! Must visit Langkawi again. Great drone views 😍 By the way, do you guys surf? With all that rain, monsoon season is upon us and Cherating in Pahang comes alive with surfing enthusiasts. Just sharing in case you want to explore the east coast
Saludos
Do you that there's a lot of similarities between food in langkawi and Thai. When the border reopen you can go to koh lipe and Satun by taking a ferry from here. It takes less then 2 hours to reach both places.
hahaha cute Andreu was wearing a helmet without sun visor :D
