Thats a really great format. Just the other day I thought about how great it would be to have an in-depth primer-format to deeply understand meta decks. I'd really love this for more decks as well. I'm trying to get my head around RogSi right now but I think there are so many nuances to the deck a better player would abuse. A video format examining those nuances of decks would be super interesting.
Thanks for watching and the suggestion! Joseph and I really like this deck so we spend a lot of time thinking about out it and ways to improve it, figure we talk about it in a video. We’ll see if we can do other decks though since we aren’t super knowledgeable on them we might not be able to do them justice! But we agree going in depth and taking through the deck is super critical to someone wanting to learn it!
This is awesome thanks guys! I picked up this deck recently and it’s felt pretty good. After the bans I have jumped around a bit trying to find something that feels right this may be it. I’m newer to cedh, i realize now post bans that I was totally leaning on dockside and turbo wins pre-ban. Now I am trying to get comfortable with midrange and being patient.
Hello lads! It seems like the video was made especially for me! :D I just started playing TnT and I really think it's the perfect deck for my midrange style!! One question for you, how important is gaea's cradle for this deck? I haven't bought it yet, and I was wondering, if I'm not on crop, how essential it is to be able to understand the consistence of the deck? Thanks so much guys again!
Glad to hear you found it useful! We think cradle is a core part of the mana base // deck for Joseph's and I's version, with so many creatures it will often help you cast your pay off spells (smothering Tithe, Seedborn Muse, Brewmaster, etc) without tapping out! It's okay if we don't see it every game since we think each game of TnT is very pod dependent and what you're drawing as well. The deck has a lot of of multiple ways to get the same gameplan going but often time it needs to pivot, having the craddle will help with a burst of mana, which the deck can sometimes struggle with. If you're able to consider crop rotation as well, it can help you get craddle (for mana), emergence zone (for insta speed win // win on top of someone), cavern of souls ( un-counterable Gran Abolisher), and un-counterable Boseiju ( if you're being Raul). If you're able to playtest with it, we think you'll be able to see the pay off right away!
Love the video and I have sine questions. Do you think is it worth to play some other popular combos like derevi/emiel, and especially floodcaller/retraction helix? Ive seen a lot of decklist and most of them included the combos. I wanna hear your opinion.
Raul here - Personally no, I think you're diluting your deck if you try to add a bunch off different win-cons. I think if you focus the deck to be more streamline and more consistent with the current win-cons it'll do better. If you really want to try to add the Derevi/Emiel combo, that is a completely different shell than the one Joseph/I discuss since I believe it is more streamline to get those creature out and it contains more synergies with those specific creatures (for example I think they would run Faeburrow Elder as well), I think it also plays very differently. Hopefully this helps but happy to continue adding perspective! Good luck!
Great analysis, thank you! Could you help me with something unrelated: My OKX wallet holds some USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
The deck is a creature deck so it struggles to burst mana like blue farm and other similar decks. We also have a lot of expensive spells so it’s easier so just hang back with other ways to draw cards and grind it out. If it works for you and your play style that’s great 😃

kinnan isnt a triggered ability its a replacement effect
actually it is a triggered ability! but because its a mana one it does not use the stack and can not be responded to :)
