Once my sim, who was already married, showed up married to another random sim, with whom he had barely any friendship, and no romance stats, and the game showed that he was still married to his wife. Them I divorced the random sim, but by doing that the Family Tree, no longer show him and his wife as married, but in her profile still considers her his wife. And the best part is that he has the Loyal Trait. A mess.
Oh and theres a great a nice other detail about this whole story. This whole thing started when I was playing with his mother who has a restaurant (they're in separated households) and he showed up at her restaurant with the random sim and had a romantic dinner there. I was SO mad at him. Them I went to investigate what was going on and who was that sim.
Kaleb is being pretty chaotic in my game right now. He has rarely taken an interest in my sims until recently... He vampirically ran past my sims house then basically did a u-turn to come back and kiss my sims hands 🤣😂 My sim is growing and maintaining a big garden and has a horse to take care of and so she was outside which is why he was able to do that. Anyways there was an instant connection between them. He left and the next sim day I got my sim to give Kaleb a call. I didn't think about him being a vamp lol and he basically told me to F off. Then he rang back later that night to ask my sim out on a date. I was like not with that attitude buddy. He then kept ringing back and after the third time of him asking i gave in and let him take my sim on a date. He took her to Sulani 🥹 It was super cute. Fast forward to the next sim day and he asked if he could come over to hangout at my sims house. I thought this is going very well. Maybe he'll ask her out. He in fact proposed and then less than a few sim hours later asked to move in. The brother's on heat!!! 🤣😭 That badonkadonk got you trippin lol Oh sims... I love it when it's a chaotic mess

What I love about My Wedding Stories is that it just amplifies the chaos Sims weddings are already known for. I still have screenshots from my first (base game) wedding, where the bride was about to go into labor with her previous boyfriend's baby and ended up peeing herself mid-ceremony while her new husband fed the guests by grilling hotdogs at the park in Willow Creek, in his tux. The other day my two Sims were finally getting married and the event canceled itself right after all of the tasks were done and the Sims were married, and I got no rewards for it. I ended up cheating, getting $40000, and build-buying them wedding presents myself. Edit: I almost forgot! One of my Sims is famous so there were stupid fans constantly interrupting the ceremony and blocking them from doing their wedding vows. But because they were already in the wedding vows interaction I couldn’t get them to kick the fans out.
I thought I was prepared to witness the usual chaos but The Sims never cease to surprise us. The whole thing left me wondering with so many questions. I need to know what happens when Katrina will have the baby. Is it Don's? And if it's not, will he imprint on it?

I think the criticisms fall through the cracks during a Let's Play/random vid because I don't think the Guru's really check for those. Like you know it's really bad when simmers in the EA creator network have to literally pause/cancel series because the bugs are so disrupting to gameplay.
My pet peeve with this pack is when I ask them to sit someone always decides their seat is kneeling in the middle of the aisle despite there being other open seats🙂
I've had several successful weddings but I just did one a couple days ago and NONE of the things we did counted toward the checklist. Had to do the vows thing like 5 times. Officiant kept walking away to have conversations. While officiant did their speech the groom kept walking off to have conversations. It'll be the LAST one I do for a good long while.

I tried using playing with the pack recently and it is still so broken. No one would do what I was trying to get them to do, the sims kept changing into different clothes, my sims were unable to walk down the aisle, and I had the same issue as you did with the cake. I know Dan and Phil did an episode with it not too long ago, and it was broken for them too.
I love this family dynamic. In my current Sims 2 gameplay, I married Don and Cassandra, then Mortimer and Dina, and I'm planning on getting Alexander married to Nina once he's back from university, so you know I live for the DRAMA

6 months after this video i tried it 😅 Sims kept changing back to summer clothes . When clicking take your seats, some still stood. Walking the isle was a disaster.. they would walk a tiny section, turn around and walk the other way. The walk up isle and down isle really confused me. Should just be walk down and they walk all they way. The cake was annoying and i wish we could order it from the phone as i cancelled the wedding just to go back to house for a computer. When i finally figured out the vows with officiant, i went to do the cake but there was no option to cut and suddenly everyone started taking it. By this point everyone is back in summer outfit dying of heat stroke and when i went to do the sit down to eat the event was over and they all legged it. So my sim ate the whole buffet to herself in sadness because the wedding sucked and why is there a timer on it? I thought you could take your time but i didnt even get to do the food or dance which was apart of the goals 😢

After spending 30 min choosing their beautiful outfits, Nalani decided to put on her swimsuit as soon as she got into HER own wedding and went to swim as half fish. I had to wait half of the event for her to focus, so I could marry her to my sim. What a romantic story. Honestly, I see CC creators that are a thousand times more talented than The Sims 4 team...

Aside from the terrible naming of it, there's so many broken things and glitches I really don't expect them to ever fix properly
