Deliverance Deception in New Christians

Tragically, many new Christians fresh out of the new age get involved in another deception called “deliverance ministry.” When you leave the new age or other deception, you often consciously experience spiritual warfare for the first time. Desperate for relief, and not aware of what the Bible prescribes for spiritual warfare, new Christians often turn to deliverance ministries. These ministries twist scripture to justify their practices, but unless you know your Bible, you will fall for this scripture twisting and the allure of the theatrics of deliverance. Sadly, some of these young Christians become social media influencers who unfortunately point people to deliverance ministries, instead of to the Gospel and solid Bible studies. This video is a re-post from Dawn Hill’s LoveSick Scribe podcast originally called “From the New Age Frying Pan to the Deliverance Fire,” about social media influencer and new Christian Angela Ucci’s promotion of deliverance ministries and the false teacher Isaiah Saldivar. Because Angela is going on so many podcasts lately to promote hyper-charismatic deliverance ministries, this video is a warning to anyone who could be influenced per Ephesians 5:11. We are not putting down Angela, we are warning about deliverance ministry. Doreen did warn Angela to avoid deliverance ministry, but she was influenced by friends who are hyper-charismatics. Angela publicly calls Doreen a “heresy hunter,” and says she won’t listen to Doreen anymore. We are praying for her to come back to Bible study and to publicly renounce deliverance ministries.
