She got to join the school and eventually Babymetal with her idol Sumetal and then eventually she got to perform this song together with her. A beautiful story!

The song Over The Future has an other connection with Babymetal/Suzuka/Yui. Karen Gir's was part of an Anime and the Anime stopped after a less than 2 years. So the music group did as well. But they did go to a big Idol festival and performed there with an audience of over 20000 people: www.dailymotion.com/video/x387i1k As I understand it, I might be wrong, Yui was in the audience with her family that wasn't sick any more. That was in 2008 at the Saitama Super Arena. In 2015 Babymetal performed at the same arena with 20000 of their own fans. I think if someday anybody wants to make an anime for Babymetal, it should call it Over The Future. And in the last episode they perform this song and the last scenes are from SSA singing Road of Resistance. Just saying, we see many anime series today about everything so i think BM story would be a nice one.

+Soufriere Ayami had done a lot of modeling and commercial work, but Su inspired her to be a singer. I have to agree with you about this song. It's deeply meaningful in different ways to all three members of BABYMETAL.
It's a shame Ayami stepped out of the limelight. She's a fine singer. But I guess I can't blame her -- Idol is a tough field no matter how pretty you are (and she is _very_ pretty). She's probably happier getting an education... at least that's what I heard she's doing now.

Nope. Karen Girl's members were Ayami, Yuika and Suzuka. Yui was a big fan of this group at that time and I think she mentioned in a Sakura Gakuin diary that her family and Ayami's family were friends. Fast forward, the group dissolved and Sakura Gakuin started. Ayami and Suzuka (No Yuika :( were one of the 8 founding members. Two months later, Yui and Moa entered and this was their audition song. In the same year Sakura Gakuin started, a few subunits (or school clubs as they called them) were introduced and Babymetal was one of them with Suzuka, Yui and Moa as members. When Suzuka graduated from SG, Babymetal was no longer a subunit but an official group so Yui and Moa were in both groups until they graduated from SG in 2015. The babymetal cover was performed during Babymetal's concert Legend D on Suzuka's birthday in 2012. They were all still in SG then. I'm certain this performance meant a great deal to all of them. Sorry for writing so long. Just thought that you might want to know a little bit on the origin
