Man, Harry and Larry hits totally different with Pacifist and Geno, like they're kinda annoying yet amusing characters in Pacifist yet wretches you in the gut in Geno on how innocent they are, not understanding that us/Chara are the human until Crossbones/Sans takes action
Everyone is talking about the Harry and Larry fight being super upsetting, and it is, but what _really_ gets me is Chara at the Test Your Strength game at 1:07:40. It feels like it could be one of two things: either the bloodlust of the Geno run has made them go this incredibly aggro, or this is the only thing they can think to do to lash out at the situation the player has put them in, otherwise powerless to stop themselves from slaughtering everyone.
I bet it's option 2. Talking with Papyrus after beating Sans shows options like "I don't wanna do it" that change when you choose them. That shows that Chara doesn't really want to do those things.
It's terrifying from the beginning. Even music when everyone die and that fact, that Asgore casually answered to the phone calls, like nothing happened, till the town.
I REALLY like this route, but if I had to give *one* gripe, its that despite being a VERY major character in the Pacifist & Neutral routes, Koffin-K barely appears here, to the point of just completely vanishing from the plot after his intro scene. (Though part of me DOES wonder if that's intentional, and if he might show up again later seeking revenge on us for what we did to Harry & Larry)
I think we will fight him again later in pacifist/neutral, given the lesser and greater dog escape too, they and Koffin k might be fought again, lesser and greater might be fought again in the mines, while koffin k could be fought multiple times like once per area, and I think the last time we fight him in pacifist/neutral is when we get our fight with koffin-k in genocide or ruthlessness

Actually, imagine if we don't really know what happens to TS!US and he just disappears, never to be seen again. It would almost be similar to how San's 'death' in the original Undertale is unknown. Plus it matches the whole speech of 'you'll never know what the truth is'.

You can make him appear if you get stuck on the mushroons puzzles, even if he's only telling you what to do, is also funny seeing him being scared of Jeremy, or if you keep making him go in and out of the ground he will talk about you making him tired like that Papyrus interaction in undertale
Tip for atack at 1:22:42 You can stand on opposite to direction the box is moving end of platform, once the box will be close enouth you jump and wait 'till you are at jump limit, then you dash (while holding the arriw in direction of platform), with good enouth timing you wont take any dmg, making this atack basically free
Something tells me Larry is alive,sure we can't hear him turning to dust due to being far away from us. But we also don't hear him hitting the ground. And he is build like wrecking ball,he def would make extremely loud "thud" sound upon hitting the ground.
I feel like this is gearing up to surpass the original game's genocide route. The music is creepier and the world reacts to your choices more realistically (this time the monsters actually wise up, evacuate, and try to hide instead of foolishly sticking around trying to fight you -- and if you abort the route, they don't just forget what you did). Overall the game feels like a more polished Undertale (which is not a knock to Toby, since he had 3 years and worked only with one other person). Only thing I'm iffy on is pulling out a sans fight this early unless they have plans to have someone else take the role of sans as "the hardest fight" later on. Otherwise, definitely a worthy successor to the OG game
The hardest or replacement for sans is probably gonna be papyrus This is underswap so papyrus is definitely the sans of this game in some way and we'll fight him before toriel
I think the hardest fights will be swapped. Papyrus and Alphys will still die, Undyne will still find a way to rig the fight more in her favor, but what actually changes is where you'll meet everyone.
I'm mostly certain that papyrus will be the one taking this role. Close to a disbelief sorta thing, probably forgetting the whole "Everybody can change" mentality by the time of the fight
It kinda breaks me how both in Compassion and Ruthless route Chara's story is sad, but in Compassion one Chara just tries to make other lives better whereas in Ruthless, Chara just spreads their pain for the world around them.
I like to imagine that he'd be more taking a backseat. I don't believe he'd go Disbelief Papyrus on you. The luckiest he can ever go would be as an evacuating victim of your killing spree you'd get to bump into here and then.
