1945 Part 1 and 2 loading on PS2 but unable to start

FYI seems to be any ps1 controller solves the start button issue. Might just be compatibility with the 2 thumb sticks.

Interesting, I've tried both my analog and normal ps1 controllers, and they seem to not help even restarting with said controller in port 1. Is the hori joystick my only other option?

@@deancermak6131 I tried different controllers and only my Hori joystick worked with these games.

For me i can easily start 1945 with wired DS2, but can't start 1945 II with same controller.

Im having exact same problem, did you ever find a fix? Im using ps2 controller.

The only thing that worked for me was using the Hori joystick, no other controllers would work.
