My favorite era of gaming was the early 2000s to mid 2010s. It was that perfect time in gaming history when developers had figured out how to do more things in games, but corporations hadn't yet figured out how to monetize absolutely every single thing about their games. We had great titles like bioshock, portal, elder scrolls 3-5, the best pokemon gens (3-6), god of war, most w.o.w. expansions, the gta games people actually know, and a lot more that I don't have time to mention right now

No politics, just pure fun. The last gasp of it being in the early PS4 era when Sony was sponsoring all the indie studios to try and keep pushing out new and different games.
