First hit, I pinned it right off the rip, but on the second I tried to feather it a tad. Third, I pinned it again. Should I ease in a little more off the go? Is this a typical yamaha thing?
@@lulusoffroad try to go a bit easier off the hit then full throttle. And it happens with all jet skis. It’s like if you had a high horse power rear wheel drive car and try flooring it on the street and it spins from no traction
Absolutely. I feel like it's definitely going to be worth the wait. Just for shits and giggles, though, I might go purchase a 2001 GP 1200R. I found one in extremely good shape. It's got a 100 hours on it. I'm trying to do some research on it to see how long they typically last or the reliability on these if it even makes sense to buy one that old
@@lulusoffroad I lived in Jackson center most my life. Had a gp1200 & suv1200. Love the GP1200, it’s such a fun hull. just do the oil injection delete and pre-mix gas so you don’t lose a cylinder. Stay safe out there.
Lots of cavitation which is killing the 0-60 time. Are you just going full throttle off the hit?
