Ryan... The magnet is for collecting soul shards, scattered around in big areas, so that you wouldn't waste a lot of time getting them one-by-one. That's the main idea. Anyway, feels great to see chapter 4 after years of development :)

@@mr.conductor4938 it was literally written in the loading screen and in the tips, he used it a few times but never again. He could have saved way more time using the magnet and it was a bit infuriating.
@@LaphyTaphyCreation same I kept raging the whole gameplay especially when trying to collect each shard individually. It's like the tutorial didn't make sense to him at all.

idk seemed like a smart idea to use the sprint, though i would have done the magnet and ability to see where they are seeing as the reapers can cloak
@@RadRaptor152 the problem is the nurse and the next boss are made to be faster then your sprint ( at least the Bunny are made to be way more to be faster then you with sprint and the Nurse is made to be faster then your normale speed/ half of your dash in the game and mabey the final boss??). so other will say he will not make it with only using those 2 ability's
at this point you already should learn how to use all ability at once in other words you already should be mulit-tasking because the 3 animals stage afther her are way more chaostic then her (not mama bear she like the clown/duck beside that a whole diffrent story), the new ability is heavy recommaned for this kinde place and for the next 3 stage. due the reason the dev even said those stage are the BIGEST they made so far. ( but i already saw he used it more in the next video as the next stage so this drama should be already stop)
though i dont say he need to follow those rule he can play the game how he want to so long he complete the stage that all what matter, to me im happy seeing him making this flaws it let me remember of another youtuber. either way i think that way so many people where heavy command on it or saying this as tip and some are bit more harsh on this matter but im glad it stoped

Fun Fact.
The Nurses, except the big boss one, are all voiced by Tara Strong who’s well known for providing the voices for Bubbles from PowerPuff Girls, Raven from Teen Titans, Twilight from MLP, Juliet Starling from Lollipop Chainsaw, and many, Many other roles.
She also voices a few other characters in this massive chapter, I won’t say who because of spoilers.

Shards: Spread out in a large, open area with multiple floors and countless traps.
New Ability: Collects all shards in the surrounding area allowing you to evade traps and not have to go up and down floors.
Ryan: It just doesn't seem useful.
Remember when Ryan thought the reaper nurses were medieval knights because he saw the main menu picture for the reaper nurses?

The main character sidestepping the syringe was unexpected and badass, also loved how they used one of their abilities they have in game in a cutscene that a lot of protagonists just forget they can do

The longer the stage goes on, the more you realize that the Gold Watchers weren’t a coincidence. They were giving the nurses tips.

Ryan be like that sometimes. Phantasmophobia was also really irritating where he keeps calling the ghosts name and instead of hiding, he finds the ghost and keep making sounds
The doors aren’t bugged, they’re supposed to that way. The nurses put the hospital on lockdown, so therefore, the doors are locked. Lol

Ryan you will not be able to keep up with chapter 4 if you dont use ALL of your abilites and learn how to switch them quickly. Telepathy and telekenises are VERY important for this level. Also the creators said that chapter 4 is all about managing your powers up balancing them and combining them. You will not survive for a long time with only two of them
Yeah, he only use Speed Boost and Primal Fear often.
Utilizing ONLY two abilities feels like smashing your head into a brick wall, so it’s shocking that it’s somehow working for him.

And then maybe the one with the Joy Joy Gang will be even more harder then the Trigger Teddies much harder than that!
Actually they are easier because of the new checkpoint system, Ryan would be making multiple videos on both this and next level if the checkpoint system was actually a checkpoint system and not being able to just continue where you left off, makes "lives" a useless feature

The whole idea of bringing the shards to you is so you don't have to run around in huge open areas with traps/saws everywhere. It takes too much time to get each shard manually. So basically you want to draw as many to you as possible, teleport past the saws, then stun or boost in an area with limited or no saws. You can get away from the nurses if you use the teleport well also. It's hard you're doing awesome!

"Torment Therapy", "Mascot Mayhem", and "Bearly Buried"! they're all so visually stupendous, you'll love the other two! :)
Some Hints: *Heavy Spoilers!*
(Mascot Mayhem) Lucky the Rabbit has speed boost, Hangry the Pig can break through walls to cut you off, and Penny the Chicken can throw eggs to stun you. They'll gain more abilities as you go through each zone, so Invisibility is key, considering the cameras placed in that level. (Also, these fellas got official raps from their developers, so go listen to 'em for more info about their characters! :) )
(Bearly Buried) Mama Bear can spawn babies, and her trigger teddies has a stun ability, but it is unknown to me what exactly it is. It is heavily suggested that Mama Bear isn't actually a bear in the trailer, but is rather a different entity.

I feel like if Ryan used the telekineses power he unlocked on the Dread Duckies (Stranger Sewers) it would be a lot easier since the nurses main power is being able to turn invisible and telekineses gives you the ability to see all of your enemies no matter how far away or how many walls are in between. This is my take , if you think there is a different trick or tip, feel free to comment on what it is.

Very much dreading this level, so thank you Ryan for the first look!
A bit of advice though, Primal Fear and Speed Boost can only get you so far. You MUST learn all your powers and use them all effectively. That was the reason you struggled so much on Torment Therapy
_THANK YOU_ for being one of the few people to give advice, instead of getting but hurt he didn't completely overhaul his entire strategy the second the game gave him a new ability.
People need to like this so Ryan can see this.
Literally every Power is very usefull in this level.
Speed boost because the nurses are so Quick, teleport is neccesary to progress(boss fight and between zone travel)
Telepathy is obvious
Primal fear is obvious

I was getting annoyed that he was underusing Telekinesis when the entire gimmick of the stage was the abundance of large rooms that can easily end you if a Nurse spots you there, which Telekinesis shortens your time in those rooms and lessens the chances of that happening. Not every power needs to be offensive to be useful. Teleport is one of the best powers for a reason lmao

The shards are so difficult to get because you need to stand in the middle and use telekinesis to get the shards easy, and not risk running into a nurse.

I haven’t reached the end of the video yet, so correct me if I’m wrong, but my thoughts are that these nurses are what remains of women who were abused or abandoned psychologically in their lifetime. The letters the writer leaves in the boarded up room is an example of what one of the nurses went through when they were still alive- they were abandoned and lacking in love so they turned to addiction, only to be shunned for trying to find comfort because no one else would.
They look like the women Doug sexually harrassed and was arrested for

It doesn't reveal any information on who they are
You dash and use Telekinesis simultaneously to collect the spread out shards in the rooms (and shards blocked by buzzsaws) and evade the nurses (use Telekinesis when you're in the center of the room).
Use Teleport to avoid opening the doors and running into the traps (Buzzsaws).
Use Telepathy to avoid getting ambushed.
This way, you can avoid dying to those buzzsaws so many times.
Also, the game was literally telling you how to beat the tunnel segment.

There are many open rooms where the shards are far apart. The magnet ability would really help in this cuz it would reduce the time the nurses can use to catch up to you.

One thing that pisses me off is how he got the evasive maneuvers achievement (Don't die by traps) even though he died 47 times.

It's kind of hard to explain how this works.
When he lost all lives for the last time, he escaped without dying from the traps,
which means the game thinks Ryan didn't die from traps.
The game will not count deaths from the previous traps, only when he is respawned (after losing all his lives)
It's like when you lose ALL lives and continue from the checkpoint or restart the game, the game will reset all your deaths from before, so he'll forget you died of traps, and he'll give you the achievement.
One thing I love about Ryan is that he never rages at this game. He always finds away to laugh at the deaths❤️👏🏻

I found a comment section arguing about how "dumb" Ryan is for not using the magnet and people saying the shards aren't the problem the nurses are. But If you have watched jays video you'd see he surprisingly only died because of the saw things in the ground that kept popping up, not from the nurses

I don’t know why you never used the power that determines their location until the second part, nor why you think the shard collector would be anything more than supportive not offensive. It was meant so you didn’t have to traverse 100% of the level to get 100%. You severely underused the ability they gave you specifically for the area.
He wanted to explore it mate. Leave him alone.

Some of the other abilities are more important for survival

Ryan you will need to learn to use all powers. Like switching quickly loadouts throughout the game because that's how it's meant to be played. If you only use one loadout you will have a bad time.
Basically I mean use all powers in disposal.
It's not meant, it's just recommended to do. If you can manage without using all powers then your just a god at the game. I'd try without using all powers too. Rather have a game like this be more of a challenge than just use powers to make it easier.
